  1. guess there'll be no promo for a while as Frankie's off on honeymoon http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/artic...-s-wedding.html
  2. I still want it to do well. Chart positions shouldnt matter but they do. I love this group and want them to succeed

Is this pop or overall? Edit: sorry just seen post above ;)
  4. it is. I just think when the girls themselves, their management, and their record company aren't doing alot to push the single then why should the radio stations push it?

it was used during Wimbledon. which is obviously now over so it's probably lost it's momentum
  6. I will. I'll set a reminder in my phone calendar lol
  7. I never listen to Forever Is Over or Just Cant Get Enough, but they work great live. whereas some of the ones I love dont really work that great live, such as 30 Days
  8. the week before WAU there wasnt a day where one of them wasnt in a major radio station. it was excellent promo they had going on for it. they obviously had enough though and never bothered with any Gentleman promo. Missing You was their best promo campaign though.

#1410 in Pop now I think R1 only support Rizzle Kicks cos they were a Fearne Cotton "discovery". So they like the fact that they take credit for their success. But I dont think they are a particularly relevant group anymore.
  10. this time 16 months ago they were all about gettin their ar**s out there and visiting radio stations and promoting their work
  11. I dont even have Spotify

I can't believe Work and NGU are generating more sales at the minute than WAYWF!!
  13. oh she'll need about 5 weeks honeymoon. and the other girls will need a break after all the wedding partying....
  14. I think this is going to debut very high, even with just the hardcore fans buying the 4 different versions of the album available!
  15. positive movement :yahoo: hopefully it will continue to climb
  16. Richard & Adam released a Christmas album and it didn't even go Top 20. even Leona Lewis managed a Top 20 with her Christmas album.

they need to do one big bit of promo soon, to start the interest. the way Will.I.Am did with his song on Britain's Got Talent (and Cheryl Cole too) about 6 weeks before it was actually released. It is harder as Alan Carr, Graham Norton etc aren't currently on air, but they could still do SOMETHING other than holiday
  18. anyone else seen the advert for WAYWF video on youtube? Just went on to watch some Live Loung Saturdays performances and it played a 30 second advert for the video and First Choice

Glad to see the album holding up. Cant believe the physical version isnt available on alot of websites yet though. Definitely think WAYWF needs to be 59p
  20. does Amazon contribute much to chart sales? the album is #614 on their digital chart and #1460 on their physical chart. But I'm not sure how much Amazon contributes. #614 could be <10 sales I don't think it's as popular as iTunes
  21. they could get playlisted easily if they promoted a wee bit and made an effort to go into radio stations

if they sell it for 59p, that should increase sales, and then will itunes recognise it and do the "complete my album" for people which should then hopefully lead to more album sales
  23. once they premiered it on Capital, they all f**ked off on holiday and showed no interest in promoting their own single. why would anyone who works at a radio station want to playlist a song that they havent heard anywhere else, or seen anywhere else, or read about anywhere else, when the people who sing the song are nowhere to be seen doing no promo at all oh and I love that GRL song so I'm glad they playlisted it

Agree. Its what helped NGU preorders wasnt it?
  25. lack of promo and radio appearances is a MAJOR issue with The Sats especially with the last 4 singles. I can't even put into words how much it frustrates me.
