Take That - Wonderland - 24 March, 2017
Hi BadHabit! :) New Day is a song which I can't make up my mind about, do I like it or not? <_< I can't decide! Yes, a physical cd with a proper b-side is a must.

Take That - Wonderland - 24 March, 2017
I have listened to the album a couple of times now and I like it! I think that I prefer this album to III. My favourite songs so far are And The Band Plays, Superstar, Giants. I also quite like Lucky Stars, Come On Love and River. Also still like Cry. I loved Carpool Karaoke! Especially the second part, when they got out of the car, and did Pray. That was hilarious :D

Take That - Wonderland - 24 March, 2017
I don't think it was a last minute decision to perform Shine last night. I'm pretty sure that I read earlier this week that Shine was the song TT was going to perform together with the groups. I agree about the lack of promotion, it's really bad. I wonder how they reason regarding promotion, what their plan is.

Take That - Wonderland - 24 March, 2017
It would have been great if they had performed Giants tonight, but I can see why they didn't. I think Nirvanamusic explains the dilemma very well. Also, maybe it wasn't their own decision to not perform Giants? Like Nirvanamusic said, TT and their music are already given lots of exposure thanks to Let It Shine. Had they also been given the oppurtunity to perform their brand new single on the show it might have been a bit too much for a public service channel like BBC.

Take That - Wonderland - 24 March, 2017
I like Giants but I don't love it like I immediately did with These Days, and still do. But we'll see, maybe it will grow on me.I haven't heard Loving or Leaving yet. Hope we will get the video for Giants soon.

Take That - Wonderland - 24 March, 2017
I really like the album cover and title. But March feels so far away! I had hoped to get some new music sooner than that. I will probably have to give the tour next year a miss, don't think that I can afford to travel this time :( Hoping for some European dates closer to my country.

Elisabeth, I usually don't agree with you but I think that you are right about that some of the remarks lately have been quite nasty. I am not a big fan of Rob and I'm not impressed with the new song either but I think that some of the comments lately are a bit too much. Aside from critizing Robbie and his behaviour some comments are also very close to declaring his fans as idiots, which I find somewhat offensive. And I'm not even a fan of him! And Milly, what I don't understand is why you pay so much interest to Robbie. You obviously can't stand him and is detesting him with a passion, why do you torture yourself with watching his videos on instragram? Why don't you just ignore him? That's what I would do :)

BST Live at Hyde Park Summer Show
Good to hear that you had a great time Jay. From the pics and short vids I've seen so far it really looked amazing. It must have been fantastic to be there!

BST Live at Hyde Park Summer Show
Me too! I would have loved to be there. I'm sure it will be an amazing show. And this just reminded me of the European dates which late last year/early this year would be announced "soon". It's now July so I guess it's not happening ;)

BST Live at Hyde Park Summer Show
Great to hear that it's sold out, so very pleased for them. Dylan and Jay, have a fab time there! I'm looking forward to read your reviews later :) I've never been to such a big event, but I would probably worry about the toilet issue too! I always do :P

The Flood vs These Days
This is a tough one! Both are great, but two completely different songs. I voted These Days simply because I enjoy listening to this one a little bit more than The Flood. I'm also surprised about the result so far, I had thought that The Flood would easily "win" this one.

Cry - Take That & Sigma
I agree Milly, it's good that the video is finally out, but I don't understand either what cars has got to do with the song. I wonder how they got the idea for this video? Like, here we have a song about love, let's do a video with racing cars! Maybe the cars is a metaphor for something else, which we don't understand ^_^

Cry - Take That & Sigma
Here it is, I hope this works: What do you think? I've only watched it once and after that first watch I'm not too impressed...maybe because I have zero interest in cars :P

The video for Cry is out, but I don't know how to post a link for it  It's on Youtube, maybe someone else know how to do ?

Cry - Take That & Sigma
I just want to say again, like I said in my previous post, no one (except from maybe one or two people ) is questioning that Gary has the lead vocals on Cry. The issue with Cry is that it's almost impossible to hear Mark's and Howard's voices, and that is annoying some fans because this is supposed to be Sigma feat.TT, not Sigma featuring GB.

Cry - Take That & Sigma
Yes, music-wise too. And yes, Dylan has (defended them, that is). I don't understand exactly your point about my dissatisfaction, what part in my post you are referring to, so can't really respond to that. I can't see anything in my post suggesting that I am blaming Gary or anyone else for that matter. Was it my question about how the promotion works? In that case you must have totally misunderstood my question.

Cry - Take That & Sigma
I think Cry is good, very catchy, but as people already has pointed out it's more like Sigma featuring Gary Barlow than Sigma feat.TT. Re lead vocals, I don't think that most of the people who are complaing are suggesting that Mark or Howard should sing lead on this one, they just would have liked to be able to at least hear them, as would I. I've seen many comments about Cry on twitter saying that they love the song but would have liked to hear more of Howard and Mark.I also think that the fact that on III Gary had most leads some fans were extra put off with the lack of Howard and Mark on Cry. When Jason left and now when they are only 3 left in TT I think some people, not GB fans though, had hoped for more evenly shared lead vocals. That did not happen so some fans were quite disappointed and even more so when they heard Cry. As most TT fans, and also other people, prefer Gary's voice to Mark's or Howard's voices I predict that this is the way it's gonna be becasue commercially that's the right way to go. Are Mark and Howard happy with that? Who knows, I couldn't say. And let me just say GB fans can also throw a real tantrum! :D It happened when Circus was about to be released. Before the release we could listen to 30-second snippets of the songs and let's just say that some GB fans were not happy bunnies. They had only heard 30 seconds of the songs but oh no they would not buy this album because of too few Gary leads. I sometimes get the feeling here that it's perfectly fine to diminish Howard and Mark and still call yourself a TT fan, but if you do the same towards Gary you can't be a real TT fan. I wonder how much say TT have regarding promotion of Cry. If I understand things correctly this is a Sigma release as it says Sigma feat.TT and I guess that the song is released on Sigma's label. I wonder how it works in situations like these? Have to say that I really like Justin Timberlake's new song. It's a great summer tune.

New Album 'III', lead single 'These Days'
This could very well be the case, and I think that's why they now are taking the chance to do things they haven't done before, like the Vegas thing.

New Album 'III', lead single 'These Days'
One interesting thing is that despite the lack of huge success saleswise for this era they seem to be more relaxed, happy and enjoying themselves a lot when performing etc. How much should an artist try to adjust in order to get commercial success? Yes, commercial success is important, but at what cost? If they find it more challenging and inspiring to try new ways, should they not do that instead of going back to the "old" and safe sound? Looking at other aspects than just the music, maybe people simply are not as interested in TT any longer? I'm thinking that when they came back in 2005 they were kind of underdogs and I think that many people were surprised at how good they were. They came back with great new music and put up great shows, and they did it without Robbie! It was such a good and fascinating story, and the media loved them too. Many things has happened since then and the fascination and "goodwill" is no longer there. On the negative side is also the lack of B-sides on their singles nowadays, I'm also missing some extra material on the latest DVD. Maybe these kind of things doesn't affect the sales figures a lot but it just feels like they are getting more and more lazy with that kind of stuff. Regarding the lack of promotion, I wonder if that was partly due to Gary's many other commitments? Before you chop my head off, this is not an accusation, just a thought from my side.

New Album 'III', lead single 'These Days'
I was going to say the same thing, I don't think it would have mattered that much which of the new songs they had released as a single. I can't see any of them being a big hit with the public audience. I also have to disappoint Milly and dylandog, WYBTFM is leaving me rather cold and I can't hear the same magic as you do :) Hey Boy, on the other hand is a brilliant song - just kidding! :D But I don't hate it and can actually enjoy it. For me it's not a song to take so seriously, it's just a fun up-beat song made with a bit of humor, the same with the video for it. According to recent interviews they are planning to release new music already in 2016 as well as a Greatest Hits album in 2017. Let's see in what direction they are taking us next :) Wishing all of you a Happy New Year!

New Album 'III', lead single 'These Days'
I don't think Hey Boy is that bad. I quite like it and I enjoyed the live version. It's very catchy and I like that 80' s and Pet Shop Boys sound the song has, and becasue of that upbeat retro sound I don't think it's impossible that people also over the age 30 could like it or buy the song. I know I do anyway! I do think These Days is better though. Even if you don't like a song of the band you are a fan of, which of course is perfectly fine, I think that hoping for that song to flop is maybe taking things a bit too far, but that's just my opinion.

New Album 'III', lead single 'These Days'
In an interview with TT today on Danish radio they said that there will be a completely new album next year. They have been working on it during the tour and probably half of the album is already finished. In 2017 there will most likely be a Greatest Hits album. Also, they recorded a video when they were in New York recently (they didn't say for which song). I'm curious to know in what direction they will go musically this time.

New Album 'III', lead single 'These Days'
It's interesting how differently you could perceive things. Regarding their performances I'm with dylandog. When it comes to interacting with the crowd during the shows I get the impression that Mark genuinely loves that part of the show, I don't see it as a way for him to try to be liked by the audience. I think that he simply enjoys it. Mark usually is sweating a lot but yes, I have noticed that he looks kind of tired or worn out. The energy is there but in his face he looks a little worn out. Oh, and I don't think Mark or Howard would have a problem with doing two things at once ;) Have fun, those of you going to the cinema tonight! Would have loved to see the show again, but sadly it will not be streamed in my country.

New Album 'III', lead single 'These Days'
What I'm also is missing is proper b-sides with their singles nowadays. The lack of promotion and the lack of b-sides, it all feels so lazy and I don't understand either why bother with releasing singles when it's done this way.
