iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 1st March 2015
Really hope we get a release date soon for the original version of The Girl Is Mine! I can see this being huge, I love the track that much I'm so tempted to buy it unless a pre order for the 99 Souls original appears!

Long may it continue, but I doubt it. We'll have a run if great number ones but you know it's not going to last Fantastic to see 3 new tracks heading for the top 10, really hoping Alex Adair can just scrape top 10, even though I can see it doing what Hannah Wants did last month :(

Radio 1 Discussion 2015, Part I
Ive said it before I know but I wish she would take Greg James with her too, give the daytime schedule a proper shake up! I'm not sure how I feel about this as I have a love/hate thing with Fearne. Though having said that I only really listen to hers and Scott's shows anyway

FFS, Sam Smith pushing Axwell out the top 10...though I never expected Something New to have done as well as it has done Shame Madonnas dropped to 6, serves her right for not releasing this on Sunday

The BRIT Awards 2015
Wow! That was unexpected, I can imagine her going backstage demanding someone be fired!! Overall not a bad night, good to see Mark and Royal Blood winning something
-
The BRIT Awards 2015
Me too, I was supposed to be on a late shift at work so I would have missed this but I've had to change that now. Think I'll just watch Bake Off instead! Also, I forgot there's that awful Global Sucess award, Ed mentioned it on Radio 1 today it's him, Sam, 1D and someone else...now that one I'll be glad to forget about......
-
The BRIT Awards 2015
I think I'll be watching some paint dry on Sunday rather than listening to the chart!! Really hope these songs don't change the chart too drastically for Sunday, obviously they will climb or be non movers but hopefully they won't cause too much damage

Broadchurch series 2
A third series?! Not sure where they can go with this now...though credit to the cast for done incredible acting, I knew Claire was dodgy but that reveal was still quite surprising But if it means another series to watch Olivia Colman's acting master class I'll be there!

The BRIT Awards 2015
These are my predictions. I've done most of them as the ones I 'want' to see win and those I 'think' will walk away with the awards... Mastercard British Album Ed Sheeran - x Think Royal Blood - Royal Blood Want I've only heard the singles from Royal Blood but I'd love to see a shock but I think Ed's got this one :( British Single Clean Bandit feat. Jess Glynne - Rather Be Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk It could be any of these 3, but I really don't want Ed to get it British Female Solo Artist Ella Henderson Think Paloma Faith Want British Male Solo Artist Ed Sheeran Think George Ezra Want British Group Clean Bandit Again, anyone other than 1D will make me happy. How they got into this category over Kasabian is beyond me International Male Solo Artist Hozier Want Pharrell Williams Think International Female Solo Artist Sia Want Taylor Swift Think International Group 5 Seconds Of Summer Think Foo Fighters Want British Breakthrough Act Sam Smith I'd be happy if anyone else wins this... British Video Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk Want this to win One Direction - You & I If its the same voting as last year this WILL win :puke:

Music Purchases This Week: Week Beginning 23/2/15
Disciples - They Dont Know I'll probably buy Madonnas single on Wednesday as she's going to need all the help possible not to flop
-
iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 22nd February 2015
I agree, that and no doubt Ed will re-enter too so make that a quarter of the chart being dominated by two artists. Though I do hope this doesn't happen, the current singles will probably stabilise Really happy to see Disciples top 10, should probably finish top 15 next week

EastEnders
I know, it nearly set me off!! An amazing end to a phenomenal week of TV, though I don't know how they're going top this! I thought the 25th anniversary week was great but this was on another scale. Dominic can never leave now
-
Higher Self feat. Lauren Mason - Ghosts
Wow, this is incredible!! I'd love to see this make the top 40, Really hope Radio 1 back this

Thermo's Singles Chart Predicta 2015: Week 8, w/c 22/2/15
I'll add my predictions later but all these tracks releasing midweek just amazes me! I get the fact Madonnas going to try and use her Brits performance to increase sales but surely it would make more sense to release on Sunday then she'd have something to build on?!

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 15th February 2015
Calvin really needs to keep climbing, Pray To God deserves to be a top 10 hit! I know the impact date is in March but I had hoped the video would have given this a bigger boost
-
iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 15th February 2015
It really threw me tonight...one minute we had the Julia's theme them suddenly WIDFL starts blaring out and fireworks are going off  Really happy to see this getting a boost though, deserves to chart higher than its previous peak of 24

EastEnders
Ha! That's the funniest thing I've seen for a long time!!!!

EastEnders
I'm in two minds about this now... All that hype and it turns out to be Bobby...as has been said this could lead to some interesting storylines and the effects on the characters involved but at the same time I do still feel a bit cheated as I really thought it would be Jane Both episodes were great but that ending just felt like an anti climax (especially as we've already had 'good child gone bad' stories such as those with Ben) so I'll judge it after tomorrow's show.
