Lesley Joseph owned the show tonight, Dorien had the best laugh out loud moments from being locked in the toilet to her jumping on the guy as well!! So happy there's no Matt Willis this series!! Hopefully it will keep getting better as we go on!!

Great episode tonight, I agree with most comments that this was the stronger of the two episodes, I wish they'd taken the last half hour of yesterday and today's for the Christmas Day episode but still miles better than Corrie! Really excited for next week after seeing that trailer!!

I've recorded it just so I can fast forward the rubbish...it all sounds very underwhelming this year, that and I really would like Fearne's and Reggie to go away...
  6. Hello and welcome to this weeks brand new singles chart! And today it's the big one as I reveal who is my Christmas number one for 2014!! Thank you to everyone who took time to post your comments last time :) Before we get started lets begin with some commentary... Chart Commentary • Today I reveal which track has what it takes to be my Christmas number one for 2014...spoiler alert, it's not Ben Haenow!! Last week Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars debuted at the top of my chart but will Uptown Funk be crowned Christmas number one today?! • Christmas week sees 4 brand new entries from Wealdstone Raider, One Republic, The Peace Collective and Ariana Grande. There are 2 re-entries from Breach and a festive offering from East 17! But can any if these tracks go straight to the top of my Christmas chart?! • This weeks highest climber jumps 20 places. Other climbers in today's chart include Gorgon City, The Pogues, Shakin' Stevens, David Guetta, Wizzard and Mariah Carey!! 7. I'm happy Blame It On Me is getting a slight boost but as for the rest :puke: The gift card effect doesn't seem to have had as big an impact as in previous years but there's still tomorrow and Saturday to go...

Sadly I can't see Cowell stopping X Factor anytime soon, maybe another 4/5 years maybe but I think it needs to be rested for a year at least though I'd rather it just disappeared forever!!

No that cannot be allowed...I'm still upset there was no Margaret and now Nicks going but I warmed to Karren quickly so fingers crossed Nick's replacement will be great! I'm team Bianca all the way, I really don't want Mark to win he is so annoying and the way he is so manipulative and two faced. If Lord Sugar hires him I'll be really disappointed in a Fleur losing to Ben way on the X Factor! Can't wait for Sunday
  12. I hope this goes top 5 next week, can't believe its doing this well on pre orders already!
  13. I'd love to see Got No Fans beat Ben but its never going to happen sadly......
  14. The last great Xmas chart battle I remember was back in 2003 where we had 6 new entries in the top 10 and it was between The Darkness and Gary Jules...even though one of those new entries was a Pop Idol single that thankfully flopped after the sacrilege that was covering Happy Xmas (War Is Over)! I guess the main reason big artists don't release Christmas singles anymore is down to the fact that they'd only be in the charts for 4-5 weeks and then crash out of the charts so limiting the amount of money record companies could make. And let's not forget, Cowell might have had 6 (7 on Sunday  ) but there were 2 years where he was defeated so it proves its possible but it needs to happen more often! I'd rather see a charity single get to number one over X Factor which is why I'm gutted that The Peace Collective track isn't doing better :(

I agree! Anytime they give Sean a storyline it's like they realise how crap Anthony Cotton is and just don't bother! I'm dreading ANOTHER Platt family Christmas...there are other families in the show, I really wanted last years to focus on Hayley and Roy but instead we got more David/Kylie and other stuff I hope Corrie can turn itself around soon as Eastenders is doing then I'd go back to watching it properly, not watching it on demand and fast forwarding the worst bits!!

Has that been confirmed?! If so than yay :cheer: But I've got a feeling he might be in th Christmas special as it said that Garth but I really, really hope he's not in it

  23. I'm not an X Factor fan at all but having seen Fleur's performance of Uptown Funk on you tube I really want her to win...and given that she's number one on iTunes could help I wish she had someone other than Meghan Trainor to potentially duet with in the same way Alexandra Burke sang with Beyonce...I've got a horrible feeling the Ed duet will sway the British public but I saw the last 3 minutes of the show and Fluer's bus got a lot of screen time :)
  24. So relieved Foggy won, I would've rather seen Mel win but at least it wasn't Jake 'I'm desperate to be a celebrity' Quickenden! If my memory serves me right, hasn't the winner usually been the contestant to do the eating trial in the final? I'm sure Kian did it last year and Charlie Brooks before him?

He should have been in the dance off, I'm so angry but I had a feeling this week was going to be a shocker and as soon as Len moaned about the lifts in Pixie's dance I knew her time had come...damn you Darcey Bussell :( If Mark doesn't go next week then I'm not watching the final! I hope Frankie or Caroline win now......
