I can only assume it's the standalone vinyl variants driving the separate positions for the individual albums (maybe some streaming too)

Pete has now responded on the matter. Basically the version with John "stalled" so he progressed with Franky instead. There were going to be 3 versions of the track, with both Franky and John's mixes being released with Pete, plus an 'Ibiza Classics' version that would be used for their upcoming tour.
