Pete has now responded on the matter. Basically the version with John "stalled" so he progressed with Franky instead. There were going to be 3 versions of the track, with both Franky and John's mixes being released with Pete, plus an 'Ibiza Classics' version that would be used for their upcoming tour. I don't know, I just didn't enjoy it? The epilogue was great but it was such a slog to get to that point and I really didn't care for the large focus on Nick and Charlie to the point where everyone else was completely sidelined.
