Other Radio Playlists
Nice to see Fcukers moving up and the adds for Lambrini Girls and Full Body 2. That Wesley Joseph tracks feels very familiar to me but I can't quite pinpoint why.

iTunes Weekly Thread w/c 3rd April 2026
Oh has it now been confirmed that IngaRose is definitely AI? I saw some articles and discussion around it a few weeks ago, particularly around the whole faceless samey releases being put up so quickly.

EastEnders
This popped up on my feed tonight, words escape me
-
The xx - TBA
So their first performances have happened this weekend just gone with Coachella lined up for Friday. I've seen loads of clips on socials but not sure if they've been debuting new stuff too?

EastEnders
Mixed feelings about today's episode. The more I see Barney and Zack together the more I enjoy that dynamic, it's just a shame it has taken them so long to actually do anything with their story (also love that gaming lounge place, I wish it featured more). Cannot stand this whole Jasmine story and whilst the break had been nice, a whole week of this trial is going to tire me out. I am here for Kat throwing her under the bus tomorrow (hoping). Chelsea is incredibly under used so it was lovely to see her be that support for George today. Nicola is such a tough nut to crack but George doesn't let that wash with him so I'm looking forward to the two of them parenting together.

Kiesza - When I'm Dancing
Oh this sounds ace

Forum Lag Time
It's also not an Apple thing as I'm on a Windows desktop (plus an Android phone) and the issue persists. It's a site thing as opposed to people's devices / internet.

September - Cry For You
Oh yay. Such a messy release for this really especially after Until I Die bombed but you can see from the edits that Hard2Beat (Ministry of Sound) had some strong intentions for multiple singles, including a possible re-release for Satellites. I always enjoyed the collection of tracks here so will definitely give it a spin soon.

Songs missing from streaming services
It is, was added recently!

Tourist - Music Is Invisible
Vinyl release has been pushed back to 22nd May. I wish it was coming on CD too.

Saturday Night Live UK
Fell asleep during the radio sketch so need to catch up again but Riz was great from what I saw last night. Weekend Update is slowly becoming my favourite segment

Radio 1 Playlist (03/04/26): A dry spell at the Jamie Oliver petrol station
They're still playing Satisfaction Skank too
-
James Blake - Trying Times
Finally got round to listening to this today. Days Go By is fantastic with the Dizzee Rascal sample underneath it and I like how it sequences into Doesn't Just Happen. Rest Of Your Life is also a standout in the way it builds into that full on electronic melody.

Capital FM Playlist 2026
Played not added. In fact, it's Jimmy Hill who is celebrating the album this weekend which is why Click Clack Symphony. and WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! were also both played during his show.

Artists that have two songs with the same name
Never understood why Emeli's version of Read All About It is Part III, where is Part II
-
Arlo Parks - Ambiguous Desire
Agreed on Nightswimming. Blue Disco is a wonderful opener and I love the outro on Jetta! A really really good album

Friday Chart Predictions
Here for Arlo Parks to do well in the albums as it's a wonderful record. #3 is her highest position with her debut, it'd be nice to see her match that. Not sure it'll go further if it does go that far as RAYE and Olivia Dean are probably going to be hanging around (Dermot Kennedy likely to dominate too) so a Top 10 position will suffice. I'd like to see some of the singles make a Top 100 appearance too though that's probably just ignorant optimism at this point, though it's crazy Arlo hasn't had a single in the main chart to date.

Radio 1 Discussion
Jack at 7am might be a bit much though regardless of the music played 🤭

Other Radio Playlists
Hmm yeah being played at 1am or 4am once a day doesn't mean it's on the playlist. You could always track back on Global player and see what context is given behind the play but probably is just being billed as "new music"

The BuzzJack Friday Chart Show Thread: 3rd April 2026
Absolutely floored by Tame Impala getting to #3 ❤️
