Purity Ring - Purity Ring
Four albums in and the Canadian duo are still sounding as great as ever. Purity Ring is out this week and continues their delve into the world of synth pop / future pop / dream pop. They were one of my favourite bands in the 2010s and my interest did drift off a little bit when Womb was released in 2020 but this does feel like a strong return to form.

Album Review: Goldfrapp - Supernature
Didn't know where to post this but seeing as this is here, a 20th anniversary release of this album is incoming on 21st November. It includes the original album, 'Beautiful' as a bonus track, a remix CD and a Blu Ray disc of the album mixed in 5.1 surround sound. The pair have come back together to remix You Never Know which was released this week.

My Chemical Romance
Couple more dates went on sale today. It was a nightmare (again) but more successful as my friend managed to get tickets so I'm going to the 8th July Wembley date!

Kinda hard to explain without a demo ha. When I press into the blank space in the text box and press paste it works. If the link auto-populates from the clipboard in the suggestions bar above the keyboard then it doesn't work? (As pictured). It creates a text version of the link which then hyperlinks after clicking away/space bar

Waterloo Road
I've nearly binged it in two days. Some of the stories hit HARD, as usual (Episode 4 especially). P.S. Mitch is a cutie.

EastEnders
Cackling at the thought of Drake Zagan being Zoe's son. Not sure how I feel if Jasmine does turn out to be Zoe's. It would be like Danielle/Ronnie all over again. I've read that Peter and Lauren might be exploring polyamory. Would explain Lauren's chill reaction to Demi taking an interest in him.

EastEnders
Did we find out when in 2006 she gave birth? Dennis didn't die until NYE 2005 and Zoe left in June 2005 so its possible they met either off screen before she left or after she'd gone but before he died. It does definitely feel like Zoe is just antagonising Sharon but it could be a plausible route if it does so happen to be true.

I've found on mobile that if you press into the text box and select to "paste" the link it will appear as a video. If you paste from the clipboard directly it doesn't work and only hyperlinks. Always thought it was a me thing but it did when I upgraded my phone

EastEnders
Absolutely no way that is the end of a Sharon/Zoe feud. They're doing very well at referencing the details of what happened in 2005 given a % of viewers won't have been watching. It was quite the iconic storyline really so it's good they're not brushing over it. Looks like a love triangle is about to happen between Freddie, Oscar and this Jasmine. Possibly could lead to Freddie's exit? He's been a little useless of late. That scene in The Albert with him making cocktails, Cindy's outburst and Jean/Mo was really cringey.

Overload is 25
Honestly one of their best. It has held up incredibly well and like Aly says hasn't dated whatsoever. The whole One Touch era feels timeless.
