I watched the first episode this evening and I'm loving the Black Mirror meets Stranger Things vibe going on. Not too much given away to begin with but enough to keep you wanting to watch, a great start!

If people are watching on iPlayer initially; I'm not sure of viewing numbers these days let alone people watching afterwards on there/YouTube. The BBC Two airing doesn't go out until 10:45pm.

Been revisiting some Anish's stuff today and the king has been releasing a series of EPs with at least another one to come. He was also at Radio 1's Big Weekend on Friday playing the BBC Introducing stage.

Love that the singles back catalogue is now on streaming, including the video edit of One Night Stand which blends the Stargate and Sunship versions together. It has bugged me for ages that the Scandalous video had a slightly different mix used for its middle 8, final chorus and outro and now I know it's the Jazzwad remix 😯 It has been so long since I heard This Is How We Do It. It's there now!

I think there's an underestimation in the popularity of nostalgia. They have almost a million monthly listeners on Spotify and I'd imagine a large proportion of those will be from the UK. They broke up over 20 years ago and still their music is popular today, it's not like they faded into irrelevance and Alesha has been consistently in tbe public eye since too. It will be known next week based on how difficult it is to secure those tickets I guess 😂

I reckon the demand would be there for the nostalgia of it. Wembley Arena is a 12,500 capacity space. When they last did a gig in 2003 in London for Eye Candy it was at the Hammersmith Apollo which is about a third or so of the size of Wembley Arena so it's not too big of a jump.
