This one has been floating around for a while, it had some radio spins last summer. I wonder what held it back as it was supposed to come out on the Rinse label, maybe that will still happen as it's where Katy is signed.

I guess the whole 'The Night That Changes Everything' is purposeful for Wadey as it will be one year since his first exec produced episode went out. Vicki and Ross' wedding daytime airs over 28th and 29th May with w/c 1st June the week of special eps over that same night.

Had to Google who Sandra was oop she's that forgettable. Mary is an understandable departure and I won't lose any sleep over Emma and Chelsea either, the latter became incredibly GRATING in the end.

A lovely send off for Nigel in the end but of course it was full of tedious Mitchell drama to give us "the old days" (keep them x).

Wonder if he didn't get the proper licence permissions for the release as that's still needed even if it's a cover version and not directly sampling the original track. As it is quite different from the original, the publisher has to agree to the release.

Incredible announcement, cannot wait to buy it. The Top of the Pops re-runs on BBC Four are in 1999 at the moment so I've been reliving a lot of these tracks recently.

How could I forget the Mr Blobby sketch

The opening sketch this week was brilliant. They have really captured the political satire and it's great that the actual government are giving them so much material! Great to see Paddy beyond the Weekend Update segment. The Louis Theroux sketch was great too. Larry had really nailed his impression

There are a couple of shared writers between both songs, perhaps they were produced in the same writing camp or recording sessions with Poppy there. Alternatively, it's likely to just be MK jumping on the hype of Think Ahout Us as it had solid longevity and wanting to produce something similar which happens far too often these days.

New music out Wednesday and will be Hottest Record on Radio 1.
