Girls Aloud in 2008 as part of their Tangled Up Tour. They came to Elton Hall which is just down the road from me, which meant seeing very early days The Saturdays by extension. I sadly don't remember much about the concert and more about how it took until 2am to leave the car park due to a shocking traffic management system in place 🤣

Clearly I'm not the same person I was this morning as I'm very drawn to giving it another shot. I don't know if the drops/instrumentals will grow on me but the production outside of that and Calvin's vocals are good.

Geordie Stories has started on Paramount+ and the first series is following Charlotte's pregnancy for her and Jake's second child. I'm not sure if it'll get a MTV airing but it does feel like it's Series 3 of Charlotte in Sunderland basically binned off by the BBC (don't know if it was cancelled?). MTV airs the Geordie Shore finale tonight as it's a week behind Paramount and there's a surprise appearance at the end from an OG

Seems to be a vocal from Splice. There's quite a few versions of it, crazy that some big names have made use of it.

Austrian producer Ely Oaks is making a name for himself, recently collaborating with Sigala and remixing for IN PARALLEL. 'Running Around' is his new single and charts at #59 this week in the UK. The sample appears to just be from a vocal pack that's available as there's a few versions of it around (Nosi - So Good is another popular example).
