Yeah we're finally seeing someting in this Bea story which is great, it's just annoying that it has taken so long to get to this point but maybe that was fully their intention to have us all question what the heck is going on. Billy and Honey's house having an entire wall taken out so they've got a bigger lounge space is really thowing me off. It also means a missing bedroom so where is Bea sleeping? It's the Slater house situation all over again, which also reminded me that it has been completely empty whilst Jean has been away and Suki has just been fine with it? I hate that my brain cannot ignore these details sometimes haha.
  10. I am provisionally thinking of this coming Monday 23rd March to do the listenthrough on Synctube (normal time 8pm). This should hopefully avoid a BJSC Semis clash.
  11. I had wondered with this how they had managed to seemingly retain Frank Ocean's vocal without crediting him! Looks like that finally caught up with them so I guess this'll be re-recorded with a sound-a-like or he'll be added as a credited lead artist if it even does resurface.
  12. So it would appear that these guys cannot just drop a tune and it takes off as the surprise release of this has meant no impact at all. Backbone had such a huge social media presence that it always felt destined to be big but this has kinda plopped into the ocean and sank. Having had time to listen to it it does feel like trend chasing. I'm not sure why D&B has had to turn into this "let's make a crazy drop that is almost unlistenable" vibe but it isn't always needed? A track like this, whilst good, perhaps has just been lost in the plethora of others within the genre that sounds the same and so it doesn't matter who makes it there's only a niche that really enjoy it (aka the festival goer) and will relisten to it. I'm not saying everything they make has to be a chart hit either and they're certainly not looking for one with this I guess, it just feels a little bit directionless.
  13. Dipped out of these for a bit (sorry!) but now things are getting tough. I went for Lucas

Second series confirmed! (I think we need a Sky tag if we can get one at some point!)

Flawed indeed. There isn't a known reason why she dislikes Penny? Dotty was much worse
  16. No, it's just very common to release a track right before an album launch
  17. Radio 1 hasn't cared about hit making for many years

Really liked Josh and Sandra. Even more to unpack with Jasmine then whatever this "incident" was. Cannot deal with this character destruction of Suki? Sure, she can be protective over Vinny but the way she behaved today was reminiscent of 2019 Suki and if anything it didn't feel right at all.
  19. Oh blimey 😂 it's all good though, they'll be discoveries to someone
  20. When they played Audrey Hobert this morning it was as Future Artist of the Month. It's very likely that with the focus being on Greg this week that they just decided not to have one.
  21. A couple of BJSC entries were sent yeah. Tok Tok and Sneaky Sound System which would've probably been let in despite its finalist placing as it had been so long but Wardy wanted to change anyway (even though I had said no oop)
  22. Yes, it says so in the OP 😊 (but I've now made it clearer)

For the writers mentioned in the OP that is the whole point as it is designed as a platform to launch/boost careers, as is standard for the US too; it's just most of them have since become household names. The hosts are usually celebs and recognisable faces though.
