Rachel Stevens - Some Girls
"This is part two. This is the remix". Hearing that again gave me shudders *.*
-
Coldplay - ALL MY LOVE
I don't think anything is going to live up to WE PRAY, song of the year for me. The Double A-Side idea is nice, and to have a physical copy too, but both songs are SO BORING

Pick of the Pops: The Noughties
2002 again this weekend and I don't believe it's a chart they've done before though they have aired the week before twice which is in this thread, the last time being only last year! Despite it being unique we will be hearing a lot of the same songs again

EastEnders
Not Lauren having nothing to do all year and then being given another addiction storyline ugh. Jac Jossa can do so much more?

Radio 1 Discussion
Scott Mills was notorious for playing Mariah in September! I swear Dean and Vicky also played it last year really early. It's Radio 2 that are really strict with a "Christmas switch on" but I know Radio 1 have done it in recent years too

Becky Hill & MK - Swim
Nice to see she isn't quite done with the era yet and it's a smart move to push a remix (even if the original is a bop too). Lost The Plot doesn't seem to be coming until next year now having seen one of Becky's Instagram Stories yesterday. I think she also said about a feature of some sort coming too but maybe this was it.

Radio 1's Sound Of 2025
Decided to check out some of KNEECAP's work earlier as it wasn't a familiar name to me (can't recall if they've been on the playlist, though if they have they were never on my radar). I am very impressed and would be keen on seeing them get a Top 5 placing. Even being nominated for this is enough to get people interested. (Thanks MagicKangaroo for pointing out about the singles eligibility rule, I clearly hadn't woken up this morning when reading/posting )

Radio 1 Discussion
Rocking Around The Christmas Tree was played earlier today so it wouldn't be a shock if they were spot playing tracks but I'd imagine they officially start playing Christmas songs around 3rd December which is when their Christmas Anthems shows start.
