Announced a couple of weeks ago, Freemasons are releasing a remastered greatest hits collection of their singles. We've had releases from them over the past 20 years, and whilst they may no longer be at their peak commercially they've still got an impressive back catalogue so it will be great to have it all in one place to listen to. I hope we get some of their incredible remixes too. Pre-save is available now and the collection is headed up by the track Mesmerized, which is an update of their Faith Evans remix from 2006. They have said on Facebook that they're hoping for some physical releases for the album. The whole vibe of it reminds me of when I got their first two Shakedown albums!

The rewind feature is an interesting addition allowing each judge an opportunity to bring someone back they wished they'd turned for. I caught up on episode 1 today, some great performances! Cate was my favourite, I'm glad Tom turned for her in the end. Diogo is probably going to go VERY FAR.

Almost true to the original release date as well, just 4 days short! Love the new artwork and the 3CD looks like a must for me. The zoetrope and clear vinyls look pretty cool too (plus the HMV one matches the colour scheme of the artwork!) Wonder if the Amazon exclusive CD will actually become available for the UK too as the artwork on that slipcase is great as well. The 'Tears Dry' demo is out today
