Mega Hawlucha now confirmed

TEED - Desire / The Echo
Now officially going by the name TEED (formerly Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs), Orlando Higginbottom releases new music for the first time in 3 years and its a double single. I've been a fan since his breakthrough in 2011-12 and whilst the last album went a little over my head I've since gone back and checked it out and it's equally as good as his debut. Looking forward to what's to come if these two tracks are the start of an new era.

Alison Goldfrapp - Flux
Listening now having been enticed in by Strange Things Happen and Find Xanadu. I am in love with Reverberotic and its production ❤️. Magma is a stunning closer too.

EastEnders
So much foreshadowing with guns this week. The line from Jack to Oscar saying he "dodged a bullet" at the start of the week, the water guns yesterday, Kim playing with a water gun today, Harry losing that gun. Lemme guess there's a shooting next week. I do wonder sometimes they put these things in because they want people to see the online reaction in the lead up to the story and it's more about seeing the online reaction rather than caring about the story itself. "This did big numbers on TikTok so it's a win for us". Ugh

EastEnders
Marie scene stealing with her "GET... OUT!" line. Joel going from 0-100 was shocking though, you can see this storyline ramping up subtly. Next week appears to be a big week generally with a lot of unknowns appearing to be going on (from reading the non-descript spoilers), it looks like all of the stories are going to merge with a focus during the Trueman wedding. Bryan Kirkwood and Simon Ashdown in on writing duties suggests a big week.

Soulwax - All Systems Are Lying
Belgian duo Soulwax are back with their first album in 7 years making a bold return to the alternative dance music scene. I've been really impressed with the singles so far so I'm looking forward to hearing a full album. They're responsible for some of my favourite remixes ever, there are so many from Gossip to Sugababes to MGMT to Gorillaz and more. All Systems Are Lying is out 17th October on CD and 2LP variants.

EastEnders
I think it was all revealed in the 2017 Xmas ep so at least Ian, Kathy and Lauren knew and one of which could've told Cindy.

I am SO indecisive this month but I've settled on a UK based trio I discovered through Instagram I've been loving. Yep, it's more indie dance from me x

Pick of the Pops: The Noughties
I remember wanting Out Of Your Mind to make it but both are really good tracks

EastEnders
Surprised there wasn't a Lola video for Lexi today considering there's been one for everything else 😆 Poor Oscar, I really do hope this is him turning a corner now as you could tell he really cares for Patrick and shows genuine remorse for what he's done. Cindy can do one with her hypocrisy, really; though I did like her actually acknowledging that Max was responsible for Steven's demise (some good foreshadowing perhaps).

Radio 2 Playlist 2025
Well, they've played The Air That I Breathe and Everybody's Talking today, one of which has already been a single
-
Radio 2 Playlist 2025
They can play the music if it's been serviced to them. Perhaps it's a promotional idea from the label to drum up interest in the album. She's also a performer at Radio 2 in the Park in a couple of weeks too so could also be why it's getting early support.

Jonas Brothers - Greetings From Your Hometown
I've been listening to the album this morning and it's really good. The sort of AC music I really do love as it's catchy as heck. A real shame it didn't chart.

EastEnders
Oh bore off Jack with your "it's PRO-CEEE-DURE" Cackling at some poor person having to literally chuck the cockerel down the stairs of the club. Julie chasing it around was ridiculous. We really don't need this type of "light relief" if it's not funny in the slightest x I didn't quite understand how Avani and Nugget were both getting their results today? Nugget is supposed to be 17/18(?) so it should've been his A-Level results last week, but then why not ackowledge that he'd waited to open them with Avani if that was the case? I could've sworn Nugget was talking about his own 18th birthday party only a few weeks back when Avani was getting her 16th? Oscar telling Barney things could be worse for him whilst showing off his tag was funny though.
