Yes, exactly this, it's building up to nothing in its production. I don't hate it though, it's likeable enough.

Oh I hadn't realised that was the season finale!

Yeah that hospital scene is brilliant and so well acted. It actually deals with a lot of the questions that have arisen up until now and I adored the way Niall just unloaded about everything and made his feelings known to Ruben as at the end of it all he's so deep rooted to him. I definitely wasn't expecting that end scene at all, especially after episode 1's "present day" scenes suggest completely the opposite outcome.

Oh this is lovely. It has a great sense of nostalgia in its drops so I'm glad they've kept some of that sound in considering when it should've been released. Capital have already playlisted this and Radio 2 gave it a spin on the breakfast show this morning. Garrix has not had a UK chart success yet this decade, Summer Days was his last Top 40 in 2019! I'm hoping this will bring him back in there.
