It was actually a Double A-Side with Clumsy in May 2007 which was a really poor decision as it certainly deserved its time to shine on its own and would've been a great second single following London Bridge.

Little bit of possible foreshadowing today with Zack suggesting he's going to take Barney and run off to Inverness. It's a daft concept on initial thoughts considering Barney is 16, about to sit his exams and not likely to leave Teddy and Nicola. I definitely think it's Zack who'll end up in the water though but perhaps on his own. We're just waiting for that really dark side of Teddy to come out and can see it happening here.

Currently listening to an edition of Pop Anthems on the Radio 1 Anthems stream and they've just played Busted - She Wants To Be Me (it was ineligible to chart as it was released on a 3" CD single). I didn't expect it to be featured on the show but clearly Radio 1 remember it well and must've supported it at the time. I don't think I've heard it since I owned the album in 2004, it was a nice surprise.

#12 in the mids today which is pretty good going though it'll mostly just be a cumulative effect of all the tracks being streamed now they're in one place. I did give the whole thing a listen yesterday and liked the new one but it was drowned out completely by everything else (no surprise really). Without You and Fade Into Darkness were the ones I couldn't get out of my head but it's just a completely solid collection of songs it didn't get boring once.

Vick Hope is going on maternity leave next week so that'll be both her and Katie off. Not sure who Jamie is going to get in to cover with him; I know Sam and Danni are often on (and they're covering Going Home all next week).

Bad Blood on a Radio 1 Anthems show and it's interesting that they choose to play the original Kendrick Remix and not the Taylor's Version but have switched out everything else. Wonder if they actually realise!

They're both brilliant tracks in their own way but Blink-182 clinch it for me. WHERE ARE YEWWWW

Almost an identical playlist to last year except they skipped Gorillaz and played Fragma instead!

I'm up to episode 4 and I actually think they're a great group of people. It might just be current series bias but they seem to be a lot more watchable than the first series. There's some great banter and some really strong emotional moments. Episode 3 in particular really made me warm to everyone with Lars and Adam opening up in the group.

Yes that's true though even the decades stations are very stale and somewhat more so than the main station. After a couple of days of 00s or 80s you've heard it all. It's a big deal for the brand to be the biggest in the UK and they're clearly doing something right but it's still a gripe that their playlists lack variety. (Yes Lewis we know change the record 😂)

Heart have just overtaken Radio 2 as the most popular network in the UK now. I think they have a real opportunity to tap into the Hot AC field a bit more. No one is asking them to turn into Capital but there are definitely some missed opportunities within the playlist.

Radio 1 Anthems just played the Get The Party Started/Sweet Dreams remix and I had never heard it before. It's class!

Ah I won't bother posting it then but will definitely try and listen just to see if Mark picks anything different to what was played last time.

Watched it all this weekend, it was great with some really funny moments. It was a little daft but I couldn't stop watching and definitely want to see more of it. (P.S. Charli XCX was iconic). Benny and Carmen's relationship was the highlight of the show, they bounced off each other really well. I was rooting for Benny a lot, even with some of his questionable but understandable behaviour. I think this has one of the best soundtracks ever for a show. Each episode is named after 00s and 10s tracks ❤️ It seems to have been received quite well and is reviewing strong so hopeful for more to come.

Series 26 is filming with both Gaz and Aaron back! Sophie had apparently quit but has returned too. Also there will be Chloe, Kyle, Holly, Marnie, Abbie, Chantelle, James, Jay, Nathan and Ricci. They'll be going to Portugal for Chloe's birthday and then off to Italy for Kyle's wedding.

RAJAR Q1 results landed this week. Nothing majorly changing really but Absolute continues on an upward trajectory. KISSTORY down to 2,042,000 listeners Heart 00s down to 967,000 listeners Capital XTRA Reloaded down to 592,000 listeners (but has had a 28% increase in total hours listened) KISSTORY R&B up to 552,000 listeners Absolute Radio 00s up to 447,000 listeners Capital Anthems down to 399,000 listeners Heart 10s up to 316,000 listeners Absolute Radio 10s up to 302,000 listeners Radio X 00s down to 106,000 listeners Over on BBC Sounds, Radio 1 10s is the biggest show for the U35 skew, Radio 1 00s is in 2nd, Radio 1 Anthems in 4th, Radio 1 Pop Anthems in 5th and Radio 1's Party Anthems in 8th. Radio 1's Happy Anthems is the 6th most popular 'Music Mix' No mention of how the Radio 1 Anthems stream is fairing though ahead of its launch on DAB+ later this year.

I feel like it's everywhere at the moment or perhaps that's just my Instagram feed 🤭 Radio 1 have played it a fair bit without even giving it a playlist spot. I think it has a shot at climbing further, especially now the video is out.
