Actually it would've been nice to see Jordan again. Perhaps they'll do it for the final week?

I was reading something earlier today about how quite a significant percentage of people these days use subtitles when watching television or a film more out of habit than a need. I'm talking about day-to-day watching here, not using subtitles for something in a foreign language. Where are you in this discussion? I find myself in the 'habit' department though I do have issues with my hearing (tinnitus), I can hear without the need for subtitles; it's become such a big preference for me that I feel lost without them on! In the report I was reading it said that subtitles felt like "company" where there's an additional comforting presence reading out what's being said on screen for you; I'm not sure that's how I feel about it but it is an interesting stance. Do you find subtitles distracting? Do you genuinely need them?

Luke Hamnett on Group Chat tonight, should be a funny one

My CD copy has just arrived 😍

2 billion streams on Spotify for this now, as announced by Natasha over the weekend

I can only assume Sean is back this week (for the funeral?)

Hannah Cheers has been promoted up within Lime Pictures meaning Si Wall is taking over at Hollyoaks as executive producer. Hannah and Angelo brought me back to the show but things got a bit silly before last year's anniversary so I haven't watched since. Might give it another go with a new EP at the helm. Did they do anything for the 31st anniversary last week?

We knew it was filmed in 2010 so it was just a waiting game for it to come out. Why now though I'm not sure

So could Olivia Dean

The way I literally flipped between the two of them multiple times before submitting. I went with Snow Patrol in the end, it has a special place in my heart, but MCR is elite too ofc.

It's a nice idea but it would need to be consistent for it to be maintained in its own thread as I've liked the sporadic nature in here. Its own thread could be a "This week in XXXX year" and would need a commitment to posting some significant/popular years for instance. On the other side, I would be here for the years that pre-date this forum

It is usually the first week of November so expect something next week!

I'd imagine it's less about JBB and more about Amazon slipping Global some significant money to plug the track.

There's a thread in the Music Lounge 🙂

Sorry, not sorry, but Thea has got to be one of the least menacing characters ever. Can we get the reveal to Kim over and done with?

Oop it isn't Christmas then when Jack finds out about Amy and Craig. Not Jean reeling off the Slaters who will be absent from Zoe's funeral. Obsessed with Honey going Blue Peter 😂

A first look has emerged today as it's been 5 years to the day since the final episode of Wentworth aired in Australia. It's even great to see Linda again.

Ooh a rare pre-eviction start! I wish we'd get more from Friday daytime

Already a thread here

Tonight from 9pm on Absolute Radio is a 'Back to Black at 20' show with guest interviews about the album

How brilliant Cynthia was as host! All the sketches she was in were great. The Cher Witch Project had me in stitches. Also, more of Ania has Nigella in future please

Housewife 7" and CD singles are saying they "ship before 31/10" so I'm assuming they could drop at any point this week.
