Rochelle doing a "man look" for her pillowcase and then having a breakdown about it is so valid because same.

Incredible names there!

I caught that but then thought I'd misheard so didn't bother rewinding. It's as though she said something, they didn't want to use it so edited Ria over the top? It's giving that obvious Kathy dub from a few years back.

Omg I cannot wait to listen to this, what a fantastic selection of tracks

25th anniversary 'Evergreen' tour has been announced

The return of Iggy

They've got some great releases under their belt. Clique and Hotline are fab releases from this year. Good to see them getting some daytime support; if I recall correctly it's a set 'one play per day' except for today as Jess will play it tonight alongside Vicky and Charley's earlier spin.

Ding ding, hot take of the day right here

Omg yes at a Sigma play

Nahhh they could at least play the right version for why it's in the chart ugh

*Waits intently for the inevitable Olivia Dean play*

Wasia Project are literally a Radio 1 artist, why not play them instead??

LMAO F*** OFF WITH PLAYING HARRY STYLES IN THIS ALBUM CHART

I was going to ask if there was genuinely any "pop" that they're "enthusiastic" about?

I can only imagine with the tickets going on sale this weekend that this'll climb even more

This is a permaban worthy comment

Now unfortunately it's the very same songs in the dance chart for the 3rd week in a row just in a different order.

Does this feel really tiresome to anyone else? I don't think it's Radio 1's fault at all that the charts aren't budging but hearing the same stuff EVERY Sunday and then again on Friday too is just... meh

It's nowhere to be seen on streaming though. Most of its "success" in the main chart I guess is from a mixture of ACR for other music but also downloads as it currently sits at #4 on the sales chart. It's #2 on downloads... just behind Movin' To The Sun 😆

There's just something about the 2010s deep house scene that really resonates with me. The way I was obsessed with mixes like this so I am completely here for this randomly taking off! I think it was listening religiously to Friday nights on Radio 1 where Annie Mac and Pete Tong would be spamming this stuff and it's rooted in nostalgia, albeit very recent. I'm assuming it's somewhere on TikTok? I'm not on there anymore to confirm. I wonder if this'll get a proper streaming release rather than the compilation version taking all of the glory, which is currently the only version available.

It'll probably be the likes of Radio 1 Anthems, Radio 1 Dance and local BBC radio that gets sacked off first before the big nationals do.

Freddie just gets better every time he's on screen. I couldn't stop laughing at The One Show sketch

Tallahassee was released last week, love the sound of this one.

Out this week then. I really like the singles so far so will definitely check this out at some point in the week.
