I would've thought both are decided at the same time to come into effect on the Friday

Oh absolutely it happened but then they quietly just forgot about it and it was never mentioned again what actually happened with the taxi

I'm ready and waiting for the show, not sure what to expect of a whole 3 hours but it's exciting nonetheless

Pretty light this year, like many others years! Past 8th July 2026 - My Chemical Romance (Wembley Stadium, London) Upcoming 11th December 2026 - Pete Tong's Ibiza Classics (The O2, London) 9th July 2027 - Fontaines D.C. (London Stadium, London)

I see it's being banded around that a permanent return later on is also happening! Exciting

If you can't catch the sets on iPlayer, this is the BBC Two schedule this weekend: Saturday 9pm - Highlights 10pm - Chaka Khan Sunday 10pm - Simple Minds 11:15pm - Highlights

Returns 23rd September. I must admit I haven't finished the previous series; I didn't like that they'd moved house, ditched the other main characters and the kids had vanished. I have read that Toby and Anna are appearing in one episode of the new series though.

20th Anniversary release of the album is happening with a CD, cassette, vinyl and digital download. Out 23rd October. Includes the original album, plus: Heaven Help Us (Welcome To The Black Parade B-side) Kill All Your Friends (Famous Last Words B-side) My Way Home Is Through You (Famous Last Words B-side) Dead! (Live) The Sharpest Lives (Live) Someone Out There Loves You (Live) (aka Stay)

It's been over 4 years since their last release but Bloc Party are still going strong with their 7th studio album. It's out this week and could be a contender for a high spot in the charts; A Weekend In The City remains their highest position at #2 in 2007. There were a few tracks put out ahead of the album's release. I'm listening to it now and it sounds pretty good, I absolutely adore Love Bombs! Streaming Focus Track

There are some brief glimmers of greatness but generally it's mid

I Don't Care as in Cheryl, Jessie J, Fall Out Boy or Ed Sheeran?? I literally cannot keep up with the way y'all talk in this thread 😭

Meet Me In Love has really clicked with me this week!

My votes are in. So many of you went HEAVY, I liked it.

Yep it was their final single, it barely troubled the Top 20 when it was released

Ok this is a vibe, it's great!

1234 was released earlier this week and yes it is a cover of Feist's song.

Welp, this is absolute crap

It's being released 30th October, the pre-order has been up on Amazon for months

Well this is pretty damn good and Poppy sounds incredible

WaiT, why isn't it live?? That seems so strange to have an afternoon slot on such a big station pre-recorded.

Floored by Avani called Max a boiled egg. Lol bye Zoe I guess 🤷‍♂️ Pretty poor that neither of her kids were in the episode and Kat was downstairs serving drinks. I did feel for her a little bit as she was calling out "mum". The only thing I'm glad for is at least Kat and Zoe made up before it happened so Kat isn't burdened with guilt; Max will be though, but he can SUFFER.

To be fair to Absolute, nothing really gets played more than 2 or 3 times in a day because of their 'No Repeat Guarantee' taking up 8 hours of the day Mon-Fri. People Watching is definitely still riding high there from that perspective though, it's funny but not surprising.

Kind of mad that this is his debut album really with over 30 years in the industry. The streaming version though will be an immediate "sales grab" dumping it into a never-ending chart run in the albums countdown with all of the big hits on there.
