But how do you know it's AI specifically?

Radio 1 Dance now playing it. At least someone at the BBC recognises her

Jesus christ when does this ridiculous rhetoric ever end 🤣

My money is on a Frankie Laine revenge Facebook campaign

They didn't broadcast anything last year so would imagine it'd be the same this time around

A preview is up on Sigala's Instagram story of a new track. The past few years have felt rather quiet for him so it would be nice to see a return to the charts if possible.

Only worth it for 10 times per day after that it doesn't count towards any sales

Define "we"

Been checking out Hits Radio Dance today. I know it's more of a playlist, for now, rather than an actual station as there's no presenters, news etc. I assume it's designed as a Heart Dance competitor, but they have to distance it from Kiss Dance as there wouldn't be a point to having it if it was playing the same stuff, so I get that it isn't "that" up-to-date. When compared with the main Hits station and the post Jay has made above there's a few tracks I think are missing like Think About Us and even Satisfy. The station has the tagline "The biggest dance hits and throwbacks" but I don't think they're playing anything at all from 2026 (maybe Milky but it's not come back round again for me to check what mix it is). In fact this all they're playing from 2025: Disco Lines & Tinashe - No Broke Boys (June 2025) MK feat. Chrystal - Dior (June 2025) Calvin Harris feat. Clementine Douglas - Blessings (May 2025) The variety is good, albeit highly repetitive. There's some groundwork done here but I think there's a lot of room for improvement if they want it to take off properly. The Country strand seems to be much better thought out in terms of playlist and is different to Absolute so it can be done.

Speaking of modern spin offs I saw the Pop one for £3.99 in HMV yesterday

I'm not sure what's worse, the acting or the blatant (and terrible) use of AI slop.

The way I was screaming at the TV at Chloe and Aitch's way of answering everything. That final round was abysmal.

Decided to have a look at how much of an impact this 'Sales and Airplay' thing has actually had. I've added in below the chart positions against all of the songs and it's interesting. I have bolded out their peaks in the separate charts (this took far too long and I won't ever do it again lol). Stats: 26 tracks have a position on the UK Singles Chart. 15 tracks did not appear in the UK Singles Chart at all. No one managed to be #1 on all 3 charts. 2 songs were Sales and Airplay #1 but did not make #1 on the UK Singles Chart (I Just Might and FEVER DREAM). 3 songs only appear in the UK Singles Chart and not the Sales/Airplay ones (Doors, Earrings and SHE DID IT AGAIN). 3 songs got their joint highest appearance on both the Sales and Airplay charts (I Just Might, FEVER DREAM and Satisfy). 9 songs got their highest peak only on the UK Singles Chart. 9 songs got their highest peak only on the Sales Chart. 18 songs got their highest peak only on the Airplay Chart. Conan Gray is the only appearance to have not charted anywhere. Giving it a listen now and I'm into Disc 2. I actually think it's a better, solid collection of songs than 123 was. Okay there's not many "hits" on there but as a compilation of actual good music it's there. That Duran Duran track is incredible and I'd not heard it before; there were occasions in the 00s and 10s where I'd buy a copy and find a song I'd not heard before and end up enjoying it so I like that continuing, especially in an age where everything is readily available.

I had the same problem. If you search for "Now 124 MP3" on Amazon it gives you the result and takes you to Amazon Music to download 😊

Enters the chart at #85. Here's the video

Downloaded my copy from Amazon this morning and will give it a listen later on

It's funny because Return To Bhibo was literally the first song played on the Weekender tonight

Ben's curtains Also omg at Jamelia. I always forget she had moderate success before Superstar.

There are a few OCC Facebook loons who have similar opinions so perhaps it's one of them but my god it's draining to read regardless 😂

I'm sorry, but it IS him surely???

Vanessa (Gold) Hawkins incoming
