Posters seems to be ignoring the fact that Lady Gaga is releasing a music video tomorrow,the battle for #1 could quite likely be a 3 horse race if Gaga delivers with the video for applause...

Some of these haters (Hayzey, sammy, shaneyboy) insist on Applause being a flop all the time yet never acknowledge that it's OA/OS and the situation with it and Born This Way are completely different. You guys keep telling yourself it's a flop, logically it isn't.

I personally think Applause is an amazing song and it's done very well for itself so far under the circumstance and Gaga is a great harmless person, people are just being unnecessary and harsh on her. The criticism she gets is all based on hype which she can't help and I feel that is quite unfair...

Ya it is really frustrating to read this bunch of negativity arround Applause, saying its a flop etc before it's even charted and proved itself. It's as if certain people want Gaga to be over.

It's OA/OS and only just been added to radio so its actually doing great and with the video out on monday it's gonna do a lot better next week...

I'm reading regularly about how people think this would have done better than Applause, which I think is crazy. Personally I believe Burqa is so dated and would have fit in with the Fame Monster era, it's basically Bad Romance just far from as great.

I'm loving The Greatest Thing, just a pity it won't amount to much.

As if good songs only get #1s? Lol. Look at Roar for example, so badly written and the melody is complete rip off of Sara Barellies' song Brave and it's #1. That is an awful logic. Applause is a great song and has been well received,with no preorder and being OA/OS its still got a great chance to achieve better saleswise than its doing right now.

Gaga will rebound next week so I'm not worried.

If you read the last two pages you would know Applause was #1 in 46 countries. Most not big markets though but that's still slaying so kudos to her.

I think you need to calm down Michael. Gaga is going to be fine this era just watch. The whole idea of this era was for it to win over the casual listeners again after BTW and this won't happen over night with Applause as its OA/OS. And BTW had pre-orders behind it which is why its sales were so good the first week, Applause has had no pre-orders or airplay behind yet. Its doing just fine!

How can you tell that this whole era is going to be like that of Femme Fetale after the lead single has only been out a few days? That's not realistic that's just crazy, and this Gaga on album 3, with lots of hype and support behind her.
