  1. Amazon Sales Update: Amazon.co.uk Sales Rank: 12,374
  2. I hope not. By flop, I mean outside top 3. That would be their worst chart position since A Million Love Songs. Currently only number 4300 on Amazon based on pre-release sales. Airplay not picking up like previous singles (because it is a slow song). Long song. I assume there is a radio edit. Very much a Gary Barlow solo effort. When is the download available? And when should it start charting? Weren't the other singles charting at this stage? Will Asda no longer selling singles affect it? I would have thought thought the Take That demographic was strong among Asda shoppers.
  3. I want Take That featuring Leona with A Million Love Songs (as on X Factor final) with a great video. It has been seen a third of a million times on YouTube. It would ensure another number one. Then The album gets a repackage with that song, plus another bonus song and all four videos.
  4. Yes I agree entirely with what you say, but even Robbie William's career could nosedive (I mean permanantly). Nobody is invincible. If the Take That boys are willing to be a crutch (no not crotch) to Robbie after him being down and out in Beverly Hills then everyone's a winner. I see Robbie as a tragic figure, who despite his immense talent, success and wealth cannot find happiness, because he can never satisfy his ego. That's not meant as a criticism, just a comment. It used to be said that Gary Barlow was the one who took himself too seriously, but I think it is Robbie. He has had so much success, he's really got nothing left to prove.
  5. Sorry I meant so many Robbie fans. Not all fans. Slip of the keyboard!
  6. Yep, but why are so Robbie fans so over-sensitive? Say a bad word about Robbie and they jump down your throat.
  7. Not to mention Mr Bojangles. Best version since Sammy Davis Junior. Then look at such classics as the Road to Mandalay. If he was an unknown, how could he not win X-factor, with his rare talent and performing charisma?
  8. How could I criticise the voice of the man behind such classics as Karma Killer and Me and My Monkey! Robbie is a genius.
  9. I am as it happens a budding stand up comedian and a stage performer (not professionally). Thanks for your kind compliments ans your well wishes! :yahoo: I now give you the new take up line up: That's Robbie in the middle! :yahoo: :yahoo: :cheer: :yahoo: :yahoo:
  10. I agree. Robbie has an amazing voice IMO. He deserves to be Britain's number one. I think he is under-rated as a singer, because of his tabloid escapades and showmanship overshadow his talent in many people's eyes (or ears). His voice has a purity and versitilty Gary's lacks. Gary's voice can be a bit bland. He really needs backing singers for most his songs. Forever Love was Gary at his finest. But Patience and his duet with Leona show how he has worked on his voice.
  11. Robbie. He's just come out of rehab! But he has something very special to look forward to (according to his mum). :yahoo:
  12. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for Robbie Williams getting his act together and then he'll be as big as Gary Barlow. And if Take That can help him when he's down, then all the better!
  13. Take That will smash America now, as Amy Winehouse has, James Blunt, Natasha Bedingfied, Joss Stone etc (but not Robbie!) :yahoo:
  14. Before Christmas Take That sold more albums in one week in UK than Robbie Williams entire Rudebox sales to that date. Take That have become bigger than Robbie Williams. Nobody would have predicted that. So yes, his career is flagging by his standards and if his mum can get him a bit of extra publicity by associating him with Take That, then good for her! :yahoo:
  15. But what happens now? Take That will be asked in interviews about Robbie rejoining Take That. They can say it is only rumours but when asked if they would like him to rejoin, they might have to say he is always welcome (as they have in the past regarding the tour) just to look good to the public. Then it just keeps the rumour going.
  16. Robbie Williams could do with some extra publicity. He has always been a publicity seeker. Doing something with Take That is perhaps what he needs to try and relaunch his flagging career.
  17. Don't see Robbie actually rejoining Take That. That would be career suicide and too humbling, like he would become another backing singer to Gary Barlow. Would have thought more likely there could be a single by Take That, featuring Robbie Williams. Or he could join them on stage for a few songs.
  18. I agree. I also think Gary Barlow's Lie To Me should be a single (best pop song was on his second album)
  19. UK TT album chart positions Take That and Party: reached number 2 Everything Changes: 1 week at number 1 Nobody Else: 2 weeks at number 1 Greatest Hits: 4 weeks at number 1 Ultimate Collection: reached number 2 Total Weeks at the top: 7 Beautiful World gets an eighth week at number one. That's more than all the other TT albums added up together.
  20. Coud Beutiful World outsell the total sum of all their other non-compilation album sales added together?
  21. Don't tell everyone but I got the midweeks from a site you may have heard of called buzzjack.com! In Chart Chat section!
  22. Friday Midweeks show Beautiful World returning to number one in the UK. This would have happened a couple of times before, but for new releases. They will also sail past 1.5m copies today. How many copies will it sell in total? Two million seems a certainty, but could it sell 2.5m or more? With at least another single (in June perhaps?) the musical in August and Tour starting in October Take That can be sure of getting more publicity boosts.
  23. Bryan McFadden dropped from record label: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/a44218/b...cord-label.html Could he join Take That?
