I agree. Because their success, Shine will be a big deal to the radio stations and probably go number one. If A Million Love Songs duet with Leona as seen on the X-factor was released as a single, that would have to go number one too. I bet you that a studio version will be on her album. So whenever Leona or Take That fail to get a number one, all either of them need to do, is just dig that one out for their next single!

Just under 700k including 100k so far this week It should easily top a million by year end It's sales have almost doubled this week compared to last. On the Thursday update last week it had sold 102k midweeks This week it has already sold 100k for Sunday and Monday

It's sold nearly 100k in two days according to midweeks. Christmas sales generally will increase through the week.

Take That's new album Beautiful World’s sales were up 15% last week to 229k With their X-Factor Final appearance Including a duet with Leona Plus the Christmas-rush boost Plus Leona mega-sales further boosting traffic into record stores Can Take That sell 300k copies of Beautiful World this week? I think he had some very good songs before becoming bland. Forever Love is my idea of the perfect love song. That's when I first noticed who Gary Barlow was and followed his career. Madonna's Love Won't Wait was his most commercially viable upbeat song. Then it went downhill. His next Single So Help Me Girl was dreary and depressing, originally intended to help him break America and apart from Stronger (that was slagged off as a reaction to Robbie's Strong) what he released next was just too middle of the road boring, dull and forgettable. The real twist of the knife came when Radio 2 refused to play his songs and Woolworth said they would not stock his second album. He had a standout song on his second album called Lie to Me that was never released. I think he should stick that on the next Take That album. Also a song called Yesterday's Girl, an Irish influenced folk-song was a glimpse of his song-writing genius. But the rest was too bland and samey.

I think Gary Barlow might do well with his fist single, after another Take That break-up but he would fall into the same problem as before, sounding too bland. He's better off with Take That, singing most songs with three backing singers! Although he could have a whole album of number ones, with his three solo number ones (assuming he had another one) and if he sang solo the Take That number ones.

Yep I agree with all of that. Robbie Williams will hate seeing Take That outselling him in the UK and I bet his next album will pull out all the stops. I also can't help thinking: is Gary Barlow planning to relaunch his solo career when Take That split up again! He must surely be thinking he could get another solo number one when Take That break-up!

I wonder if Take That could be bigger now than ever before? Robbie Williams became the most successful UK artist in the past decade because he reached out to fans through all generations young and old. With his splitting from Guy Chambers and his move to rapping, he has lost a large chunck of his audience. His music is vastly different from Angels or his swing Album. Meanwhile, Take That have mellowed. They have lost that camp boy band image. People aren't ashamed to say they like them and Mark Owen's Shine will move them closer to being cool. It's an amazing acheivement for them to come back and move their image on. Perhaps Take That are about to become the new Robbie Williams and will be Britain's biggest act? That they didn't pile on extra sales in week one that they didn't need to get to number one, could be an advantage. I think they will definately be number one next week and they will sell over a million copies. The media bandwagon with all their appearences and remaining at number one might keep them there longer.
