They should duet with Cliff Richard. Give Cliff another number one and make him happy!

Mark Owen Newsflash
Mark Owen performed at the Royal Variety Performance Show without his hat. No this is not a misprint. No your eyes are not playing tricks. He was on stage WITHOUT his hat. We are still trying to establish if he simply forgot his hat or if it was stolen. We will bring more details as this story develops.

Mr Bojangles?
LOL! You saw right through me! You should have seen my "Gary Barlow flop of the box Gary Barlow was a huge turn-off"" post.

Mr Bojangles?
Robbie is very much Yesterday's man. Who really cares about his rap music and his drug clinic visits now Take That are back, bigger than ever? I say let him rejoin Take That for one gig, because he needs as much help as possible to bring his career back to life. Let him share the limelight with them, get him on the front pages and on the news, then he can release his album. I expect he fears his eventual comeback might be a damp squib - that is why he needs the publicity Take That can bring him.

Take That Come To Town
Thank you for replies. I don't sing well and have a limited vocal range. I only sing for my fiance, but my best hope of carrying a song is to write my own and swing seems to fit my voice best. It's a new direction I'm going in. But I do write other forms too. Really the songs write themselves. I don't know where it comes from.

Take That Come To Town
Thanks for all your replies. Isn't it ironic? All those people who said Greatest Day wouldn't be number one! How could the person who said Take That might sell a million albums last week, be a Barlow hater! Unless we are talking about Ken Barlow! Anyway I'm not much of a Robbie fan, but I liked his swing album, in particular Mr Bojangles. I would use Jason's wooden boat to go to the ladies, but for two reasons. I prefer to walk than to go by boat and how can I reason with the other reason I am a man (sound familiar?). I'm a budding songwriter by the way. I try to write old fashioned swing style songs and love songs for my fiance that I hope could stand up to Forever Love.

Take That Circus to Break Records!
Thanks for your replies! Well, pessimists! I fully expect it to sell over half a million this week! If not, next Monday I will have to create another thread predicting the third weeks best album sales!

Take That Come To Town
Hey chill out! This is a spoof post. I was just having a bit of fun. You know I like Take That. With the success they are having is it so cruel to habr a bit of fun? After I heard Forever Love and thought that was the love song I wish I had written, I've admired Gary Barlow's talents. Saw him in Bournmouth when he did his solo tour. Followed his career closely, read his book, got all his solo singles, delighted he's come back.

The Circus
With 83k sold according to Tuesday midweeks, I just made a new thread on the Chart Chat forum and wrote this: I got it wrong last week when I said those high flying Take That guys would break all records. But the Circus Monday sales was 21k above the average daily sales last week, or a third higher, and we are getting nearer to Christmas. Could this be record breaking second week sales for an album?

Gary Barlow's Revenge!
- Gary Barlow's Revenge!
Yep. I am sure it was unprecedented for Woolies not to stock an album by an artist whose previous and recent album was number one. Plus there was even Radio Two who banned Gary Barlow from their airwaves. I really wish Take That would record Lie to Me as a single sometime. I'm sure it would be a number one. I also thought Yesterday's Girl was a stroke of genius, although I thought the choice of single releases was not good.- Gary Barlow's Revenge!
Oh yes I agree. He wouldn't want "revenge" as such. Yes it messed up first week sales, but second week should do better than the first as stock issues get sorted out and getting nearer Christmas and TT come to Town, plus all the publicity about the album selling well.- Gary Barlow's Revenge!
Remember Woolworth's putting the nail in Gary Barlow's solo career when they announced that they were refusing to stock his second album? Somehow it seems like justice when the new Take That are the biggest act in Britain and Woollies is the one who now stands on the edge of survival and Universal take back 300,000 copies of Take That's new album from Entertainment UK - leaving Woolies without stock!- Take That new album sparks price war

Woolworths collapse leave shelves empty of Take That http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbys...-Take-That.html The collapse of Woolworths had a severe knock-on effect yesterday when Zavvi, the UK's second biggest record chain, was left with no copies of highly-anticipated new albums from Take That and Britney Spears. The failure to sell two of the year's biggest albums on their first day of release is likely to have cost Zavvi hundreds of thousands of pounds in lost sales. Take That's The Circus album was expected to sell 80,000 copies alone on its first day of release yesterday. Last night supermarket Asda said that it sold around 20,000 copies of The Circus yesterday, its fastest-selling first-day release ever. - Gary Barlow's Revenge!
