RuPaul has shared a powerful message about the anti-drag legislation that’s currently sweeping the US. Republican lawmakers have not only attempted to clamp down on drag performances in public spaces, but also tried to ban children from attending drag performances. One example of the above is Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signing legislation that essentially criminalises drag performances in the state. In a powerful video shared on social media on Wednesday, RuPaul, 62, branded the legislation a ‘classic distraction technique’ while urging people to register to vote. With an American flag behind him, the Emmy-winner said: ‘Hey, look over there! A classic distraction technique, distracting us away from the real issues that they were voted into office to focus on: jobs, healthcare, keeping our children safe from harm at their own school.’ The Drag Race host went on: ‘But we know that bullies are incompetent at solving real issues. They look for easy targets so they can give the impression of being effective. ‘They think our love, our light, our laughter and our joy are signs of weakness. But they’re wrong because that is our strength.’ He continued: ‘Drag queens are the Marines of the queer movement. Don’t get it twisted and don’t be distracted. ‘Register to vote so we can get these stunt queens out of office and put some smart people with real solutions into government.’ The star concluded: ‘And by the way, a social media post has never been as powerful as a registered vote.’ At the time of writing, RuPaul’s video has already been viewed more than 229,000 times on Twitter. According to the Tennessean newspaper, Lee’s bill prohibits ‘adult cabaret performances in public and in front of children’.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard is set to join Hollyoaks for a number of special episodes. The episodes in question will centre on Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw) and Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell), as they journey to Brighton for a special trip to create memories that will last a lifetime. Filmed on-location in Brighton, Juliet, who has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, enjoys some time away with one true love Peri amid her treatment. Before they can sashay away off home, however, the couple are horrified to discover that all of their belongings having vanished! It appears that all hope is lost – that is, until their fairy drag mother, reigning Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard, comes to the rescue, offering the girls a lift back to Chester. Iconic. The unmissable episodes are riddled with laugh-out-loud moments and heartbreaking scenes, with their journey back home to the eponymous village proving to be one to watch, as Danny Beard offers Juliet and Peri some words of wisdom.

Well my predictions fell flat OH WELL. This was a great episode anyway and many of them did well such as Sasha, Loosey, Luxx & Anetra, they each flowed with the conversations and kept the energy up. They made the interview work regardless of what was thrown at them. Sasha was excellent as always & if she doesn't get the crown I will be fuming. Sasha and Luxx handled their segments with pose and strength & Sasha fully deserved the Maxi Win. Anetra & Loosey both had strong connections with their guests & Loosey did have the best sit down interview. Another point with Loosey, since when do mini challenge wins count as Maxi challenge wins, if that's the case then Jackie Cox from season 12 had about 4 wins by that logic. Mistress, Malaysia & Marcia were the ones that struggled the most here, granted they suffered different problems, but each had the same issue in which they all stumbled for the first time in this competition. I would have had them as the bottom 3. Salina however wasn't actually that bad, she tried her best to interact with Love Connie, but Connie talked for way too long, but Salina did manage to keep things moving. WIN: Sasha Colby HIGH: Loosey LaDuca, Luxx Noir London LOW: Marcia, Marcia, Marcia BTM 2: Mistress Isabelle Brooks & Malaysia Babydoll Foxx That's how it should have went & even with Mistress & Malaysia in the bottom 2 we still would have had the same result with Malaysia going home.

5xI95B2f3O4 Can't wait to see the full episode, some spicy drama there with Loosey who has become insufferable, but making good TV though. My prediction for this episode, I would love Mistress to get her second win & the bottom 2 will be Salina & Loosey. That's my prediction as firstly Salina's got the worst track record out of the remaining girls and it feels like her story is coming to a natural end. As for Loosey she has been falling apart and her edit isn't flattering in the least & given that she was low last week, I don't think she's gonna make the top 4, she's crashing and burning. Do think that if Salina & Loosey are the bottom 2, then Loosey will be saved, but she'll certainly go if she ends up there again.
