JoJo - When Love Hurts
Was intrigued to check these out based on the comments in here. :o 'Save My Soul' is indeed incredible though and by far my favourite of the three <3. 'When Love Hurts' is solid on first listen and 'Say Love' didn't do much for me, but on the whole there's a huge amount of promise there for the new album.

FINAL: Big Brother Winners • Least Favourite
I've pretty much lost interest in this now as Pete was the last person worthy of winning IMO . He was a completely unique character who brought a lot of laughs (intentionally and otherwise) and was prominent throughout a hugely entertaining series. Sophie, for me, was a genuinely nice girl who did well to assert herself but didn't do much of note overall and was essentially lucky that the rest of the cast that year was so weak! I didn't see BB3, though by all accounts Kate was a good housemate...but obviously I don't feel particularly swayed one way or the other between herself and Sophie as the best ever winner. :/ I voted Kate as least favourite anyway~ (Also, cheers Liam for putting this together! Enjoyed it despite the outcome :D).

Walk The Moon 'Different Colors'
It was always gonna be a tall order to follow up 'Shut Up And Dance' effectively as everything about that song is absolutely monstrous, but this is just so limp :/ The chorus is beyond lazy to me and actually mildly annoying on first listen! I haven't heard the album but would be interested to check out if there's anything on there more suited as single material...or if they really put all their eggs in one basket with the lead single. :o

Years & Years - Communion RATE RESULTS
That's the ideal top four for me <3 - they're almost inseparable in my book. I would say 'Eyes Shut' is the most beautiful and emotive song on the album, 'Take Shelter' the most fascinating and atmospheric (and all-round impressive/my favourite track), 'King' the catchiest and 'biggest' sounding, and 'Shine' is one of the most perfectly crafted pop songs I've heard in ages (let alone the best on the album in that regard) and thus an entirely worthy winner. I really haven't stopped playing that song over the last few months. It's crazy how unanimous the love for the band's two biggest hits seems to be on Buzzjack, both based on those averages and having read comments elsewhere on the forum, especially when factoring in overplay/fatigue. The one-two punch of 'King' and 'Shine' was pretty effective here to say the least. :o Cheers Joe for the work that went into hosting this! Not too many surprises overall but I really enjoyed following the results and reading your commentaries all the same. :D

Noahspike's Top 50 - July 2015
Hey Joseph! Oh I like and very much agree with your X Factor...envisagement (first time ever using that word, or what I assume is an actual word :magic:) for 'Eyes Shut' - it'd work perfectly . And yeah 'Gold' is very good but I don't think it'd attract many new fans to the album, so 'Eyes Shut' is definitely the way to go. Yep 5SOS have done very well to carve out a niche for themselves, musically and otherwise, in such a saturated market. I think their look and the fact they play instruments have been huge aspects of their marketing too and managed to set them apart from the standard boyband. Sweet, thanks for the comment. :D

BJSC77 ¤ FINAL
Voted earlier. The weakest final for months but MY GOD was it worth enduring for the chorus of my 18 pointer <33333 (along with several other gems, in fairness). ^_^

Noahspike's Top 50 - July 2015
Dat subtle shade tbh. Yeah, I just really like a lot of the lyrics and find the whole thing has quite a ~nostalgic~ quality, given the stuff I used to listen to as an impressionable tween B-). Think I'd still rate 'She Looks So Perfect' above it too (aptly enough, cos the titles geddit ). I would have Maroon 5's song higher but I hear it's flopping in the US so I've decided to abandon ship. :) TY! Hi Nelly! Indeed, I really can't see myself tiring of the album anytime soon. Great to see that it's connected with so many people on here too. ^_^ Yeah 'Body Talk' is such a confident comeback from Foxes and has been gradually sounding better and better to me. I really wasn't expecting her to release anything to challenge 'Youth' in my affections but this is coming very close. <3 I really didn't get the hysteria over 'Cool For The Summer' at first but it's been steadily growing on me, so hopefully it'll click with you too. Not a big fan of the 'breakdown' bits but the chorus is pretty effective. :music: Thanks! Hiii Jade. :D Glad you're not letting Brayden's Years & Years party poopin' ways discourage you from giving 'Communion' a listen :P! I'm sure you'll find some stuff on it you like - I've seen nearly every song mentioned as a favourite by people on here, which is the sign of a strong album I always think ^_^. Yeah, I'm the exact same with regard to the throwback sound of 'She's Kinda Hot' (and I also can't help thinking of the band as a guilty pleasure still, idk why :arrr:.). Ooh I'm not sure 'Cool For The Summer' could ever be my favorite Demi track, great as it is. Think that'd have to be 'Give Your Heart A Break' for its sheer catchiness, but in general her discography isn't particularly strong for me. -_- Cheers for commenting! Hi Mango! Ah, I'm surprised 'Come And Get It' was a grower for you as I found its chorus irresistible from the off. Yeah I'm loving the new CHVRCHES tracks but not getting my hopes up for a hit -_-. Hope to see the album debut strongly though. I'd say 'Cheyenne' is just being slightly delayed to allow 'Want To Want Me' die down on radio and make way for it, but I'm not sure what's going on other that that! He could really afford having it pushed ASAP to ignite some much-needed interest in the album though! Ah ok, I find 'Cheyenne' marginally better than its predecessor - he's really impressed me with his singles this era. I much prefer 'Run Away With Me' to 'I Really Like You' but I'm glad Carly got a big hit out of the latter regardless, if only to help shift the 'one-hit wonder' tag. :D Oh, is it?! Thanks! :P

'Black Magic' • 1st single
They were on The Late Late Show with James Corden last night and delivered another sensational performance: DLKnkeiyxu0 Not enough love for the guy at the far right @ 00:40 <333 ~ Perrie dealt well with the inevitable too: 32vP1xZbJSU I'm enjoying seeing them being so well received in the US. Really feels like a huge moment in their career. :D

Years & Years - Communion RATE RESULTS
Gahhhhh 'Border' is so gorgeous (and also got a 9.5 from me by the way :P). 'I'm going to the border/my body will be stronger' is easily one of the most compelling moments of the whole record . The song's not mentioned much as future single material but I think it'd work very well. Aside from that, I'm quite fond of 'Memo', 'Foundation' and 'Without' but no big losses given the quality of the album.

Nothing But Thieves 'Itch'
Current (Radio 1 A-listed) single 'Trip Switch': w1Qxxx2SQoo Another solid offering. Great chorus and I love the delicate vocals in the verses. Doesn't look like it'll be the hit they need though. -_-

Teen Choice Awards 2015
Haha that costume change was awesome! Great to see them doing well over there and I'm glad they seemingly have a US hit on their hands at last.

Noahspike's Top 50 - July 2015
Hi James! Yup 'Communion' would be a contender for my favourite album of the year so far. Hasn't lost any of its appeal despite me full-on hammering it over the last few weeks. Would love to see 'Eyes Shut' or 'Ties' be released as singles in particular. Cheers for commenting! Hey Harry, chuffed you're liking so much here, thanks! :D Hi UV! 'She's Kinda Hot' would probably be my second favourite of theirs behind 'She Looks So Perfect', but come to think of it I've actually liked every single so far. :o Yeah both 'Leave A Trace' and 'Never Ending Circles' have got me anticipating the album for sure. I'm happy enough that the band seems to just be sticking to what they know musically as their debut was flawless, so I'll definitely take more of the same. 'Run Away With Me' is pretty gorgeous alright and I'd love it to be a hit. Probably already my favourite track of Carly's but I've yet to check out the new album (or old one for that matter ). I still prefer The Weeknd's earlier stuff (because I like to pretend I'm a hipster you see~~~) but it's been great to see him rack up the hits lately with some very solid material. Oh yeah I agree with you about 'Move' being the more deserving of smash hit status. 'Black Magic' is pretty throwaway and won't be particularly well regarded down the line IMO but it does the job well for now. ^_^ Haven't heard either of the Sia or Tove albums and I'd definitely be more inclined to check out the latter as I find Sia only good/tolerable in small doses! Both songs are awesome though. When the chorus of 'Moments' kicks in ermahgerd *.*.*.* Yeah I've come around to 'Cool For The Summer', having been indifferent at first. Still room for it to fully connect though~ Thanks for commenting!

2015 Tennis Season
That was one of the most disgraceful things I've ever seen in professional sport! For Kygrios to say to he said to him off the court would have been obnoxious but the fact he tried to throw his game with such a personal dig just shows you what a massive prick the guy is. Fair play to Wawrinka for shaking his hand after the match, especially after losing, as I'm sure he wanted to punch him. Kygrios has since publicly (and seemingly privately) apologised at least. I hope it's been a huge wake-up call for him as his attitude is generally awful.

James's Top 40 | #124 | w/e 20/08/15
Hey James! Great to see 'Run Away With Me' doing well here. Gorgeous song and I actually think its video is perfect, having been underwhelmed at first as a montage video seemed a bit lazy for such a great song. Haven't heard the album but by all accounts it's excellent so I'll have to get around to it. ^_^ Hadn't realised you're such a big fan of 'Lonely Town' :o! That's a definite standout on the album for me as well, though I'd say my favourite is still 'Can't Deny My Love' but only just about. I saw Brandon's show a couple of months ago and both of them were huge crowd pleasers. I've become obsessed with 'Don't Be So Hard On Yourself' over the last two days . Something so warm and uplifting about it that was lacking in 'Hold My Hand' for me. Rooting for it to swipe the #1 this week. :cheer: Your run for 'Out Of The Woods' <333. I think we're probably its two biggest fans on Buzzjack (although it's dropped out of my chart oops)! Not happy that it's still being snubbed by her team but I have hope that the era still has a few more singles to come and it'll finally have its time to shine.

Joseph's Hit 40 | Week 191
Hey Joseph! Really liking your #2. Was impressed with how 1D switched up their sound a bit with the last album and it's great to see them still experimenting, especially as it would have made sense to go with a safer, 'bigger' sounding standard pop anthem this time considering they were/are on a slight commercial decline (a la Little Mix with 'Black Magic' I guess). I know it's a bit pedantic but I find the (Americanised?) pronunciation of 'me' as 'may' in the chorus really off-putting right now but hopefully I'll stop noticing it and get fully on board soon ^_^. Also, is it just me or does Harry sound different on the song? I usually think his voice is very distinctive but I don't recognise it at all (assuming he actually sings on the track ). The prospect of a Rita Ora/Chris Brown collab didn't exactly excite me but 'Body On Me' is just so well executed - her vocals and the production in particular are both sublime . It might already be my second favourite of her tracks after 'I Will Never Let You Down'. :o Likewise, I wasn't anticipating 5SOS's new track but it's quite the jam. The delayed chorus works perfectly and I love the lyrics throughout. Great to see one of the sounds/genres that defined my childhood back in the charts! 'Dance Like We're Making Love' didn't do much for me originally but the outstanding video completely made it click. That's seriously one of the best/most-perfect-for-the-song music videos I've ever seen! <3

One Direction - Drag Me Down
Noahspike posted a post in a topic in Harry Styles and One Direction's Harry Styles and One DirectionQuite liking this overall but the JT/NSYNC impersonation on 'me' throughout is so grating. :arrr: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XioM806y154/T57oyJZfi6I/AAAAAAAAKB8/iyf4is7KIsA/s1600/150772_10150720667426623_513646622_9895748_688359103_n.jpg

Disclosure — Caracal
Yeah, I was excited for this but it's not leaving much of an impression unfortunately. :/ 'Omen' on the other hand won't stop growing on me. If only Kwabs was offered that one. <_<
