Loved 'Dance On My Own' and this is another excellent effort from them. I'm glad these girls are getting the opportunity to keep doing what they're doing because everything about them and their music is so refreshing. Based on their music videos, they've a serious amount of charisma/star quality as well so it'd be great to see them have a bit of a breakthrough with this.

  3. I'd be happy to Callum! EDIT: And Math if you're still struggling. :D
  4. I am currently stuck between three tracks. One is a likely smash but I just can't get behind it enough right now :arrr:. Another is much more risky but really clicked with me this morning which would have been the deciding factor except the act's been entered before so that's kind of putting me off . And now I've just found something else that's throwing a spanner in the works. :drama: :)
  5. Poor pippa
  6. I really don't think Olly's presenting skills are up to the job. He suited the Xtra Factor but even then, from what I remember, he was often awkward as an interviewer and wasn't exactly quick on his feet.

:hi: Klum Funny, I saw you viewing the forum the other day () and was hoping you'd do a chart! Your #1 is lovely. Standard Kygo fare really but the vocals are particularly pleasant on it and it's great to see it become an actual hit as it's a stunner on the radio . Also nice to see you're still liking the 'Cut Your Teeth' remix. Really should revisit that actually~ :music: Two of your BJSC artists back-to-back at #4 and #5 :o. Will have to check out 'When I Found You' as I remember 'Call' was a real standout for me in its contest. I liked 'Electric Love' but not enough for points in the end. Was great to see you get a top 5 hit out of it though - congrats! Liking a lot of your other BJSC-related picks, particularly 'Somebody', 'Distant Past', 'Shut Up And Dance', 'Tide: The Paradox Effect', 'TV' (obvs ), 'Vacant Space', 'Love You Crazy' (rather than 'Love Me Crazy' right?!), 'St. Patrick', 'Christine'...yeah, pretty much all of them. Interesting to see Tove Stryke's 'Borderline a fair bit higher than 'Ego'. The vocals on the former suddenly got incredibly irritating to me the other week for some reason and now I can't listen to it . Still loving the latter though!
  8. Delightful  Very nice vocals from the pair of them and the production's great, if a little derivative.
  9. 'Gold', particularly the chorus, really reminds me stylistically of some other female singer (or perhaps a particular song?) and it's really annoying me! Anyone have an idea of what I'm talking about?! I shall also get around to doing this when the album has settled a bit. ^_^
  10. I always thought he came across like a genuinely nice guy, had a good rapport with contestants and judges and almost always handled what can be a difficult role with professionalism. Never really understood the level of criticism he seems to get on here. That said, a shake up was probably needed after eight years so it'll be good to see someone else have a go. Konnie to return plz :cheer:
  11. Tickets for his UK shows in May have gone on sale today for anyone interested. My friend and I just got ones for Edinburgh and I am exciiiiiite.

'Wide Awake' and 'Teenage Dream' are quite a bit ahead of the rest. In reality I can't really choose between them. 'Roar' and 'Dark Horse' have really suffered from overexposure for me but I'm a bit surprised they're as low as their respective positions.

  14. That's a good point actually. I love 'FourFiveSeconds' but it's all about Rihanna for me as well so voting for another Kanye single to leave over it seems wrong. *Votes*

Hi there Josh! I heard 'Dear Future Husband' last week and genuinely had 'Dance With Me Tonight' in my head on-and-off for the next couple of days! Not much of a fan of Meghan's version (:kink:) but the video is very well done, if a little inconsiderate of the feminist critique she's received in the past! But at the same time, I kind of admire her doing her own thing and ignoring the critics. I heard Marina's new album the other day and liked it overall but wasn't really concentrating at the time so don't remember much . However, (ironically) 'Forget' was one I recall standing out so it's nice to see it doing well here! How would you rate the album/what are your other standouts? :o Loving 'Bloodstream' these days though I'm still yet to hear the Rudimental version. The song was always a favourite from 'x' but it struck me as a bit of a bizarre single choice when announced. It does work very well on radio though and seems to be quite a widely appealing single for Ed's standards (on Buzzjack at least) so job well done. ^_^ A lot of other stuff I'm liking here - nice chart! :D
  16. :hi: Jade! Great that you've finally surrendered to the years of constant harassment and joined BJSC :cheer:. Looking forward to hearing what you bring to it! Speaking of which, I heard your #1 as part of a contest a few months ago and remember liking it but haven't returned to it since. Love your #2 though and it was great to see it grab a top 10 placing yesterday. Adore the opening verse of it in particular . I actually came across it when I was looking for BJSC potentials last month but it didn't really strike a chord at the time for some reason. -_- Kwabs' 'Walk' a new entry at #12 whuuuut :o!!! Is that a new or re-discovery?! I'm quite a fan of it to say the least and I was convinced it'd provide him with a breakthrough (in the UK) as it's definitely his most commercial/radio-friendly song but the stars never really aligned (except in Germany where it miraculously reached #1, slay ). Ooh I really need to hear 'Jealous' with Tinashe. The standard track is incredibly catchy and I'm glad it's getting radio support and is looking to do well over here. Some other excellent inclusions on here, particularly 'Seasons', 'Earned It' and 'Delirious', all of which I've been playing a lot of late. :music:
  17. Ok, admittedly I was ready to heap praise on this before listening as I loved his debut and have been anticipating his return (and given the reactions on here) but this is instantly up there with the best of 'Flamingo'! The 'not gonna, not gonna deny' part is something else  and the song's structure and abrupt changes of tempo really work. I'm happy he took so long to return if this is the kind of quality we'll get. ^_^
  18. I knew you'd lap that up! ^_^
  19. All caught up now~ (My God the first 10 pages or so were an absolute chore to read :drama: (through no fault of Cameron's)). Was all excited towards the end of the results that Desbuanda could claim to have shared, in consecutive contests, the top two and bottom two with a country in their first ever final after five DNQs but then Pav cruelly random.org'd us into third-last place at the last minute! -_- On a more serious note, I'm slightly disappointed with the low finish, despite having had plenty of warning from odds etc., just because 'Throwing Arrows' is perhaps my favourite of my entries -_-. That said, its appeal was quite wide, considering its position, with it picking up a fair few low points from various countries so I'm glad others liked it and I appreciate the votes. :D I can't say I'm a fan of the winning track (in fact, it was the most forgettable of the final for me ) but congrats to Yu/Daehun all the same! Your success rate is incredible and I loved your last two entries so it's still great to see you win. Very happy with the top 10 finishes for Aquafina, D'yermak'er, ProJ, Utopia but particularly Florina, whose song grew hugely on me and really outperformed initial predictions. I love a good dark horse. Tinnmark had by far my favourite entry though and I guess #15 is a pretty satisfying result for it, considering the minimal hype. Cheers Jerick for the wonderful discovery! Finally, well done Cameron on all your efforts! I can't imagine the amount of work that goes into hosting and you certainly seemed to put your all into it which was definitely appreciated. ^_^

Is 'Perfect Ruin' slaying anyone else's life right now or is it just me????? Also, here's a suitably swaggy cover of 'Bloodstream' ft. Stormzy in the Live Lounge: NoDzh3ziZo4
  22. :hi: You thinking of finishing this?! Adore some of these songs ('Shot At The Night', 'Dancing On My Own' and 'Crying For No Reason' in particular) and your commentaries have been very interesting to read so I hope you'll get back around to it eventually!

And still nowhere near good enough for this one. :drama: (Also Sandénia hype please and thank you. My favourite out-and-out pop bop of the contest )
  24. I had no idea there was a Glee forum whut. *spends next five hours catching up despite never seeing the show*

I'd count Kendrick as a great one too (despite not having listened to the album yet but the competition is Sam so...). Another #1 album 'shock' that sticks out was HAIM's 'Days Are Gone' (one of my favourites of recent years ) narrowly beating Justin Timberlake's 'The 20/20 Experience - 2 of 2' to the top as I believe the latter had been leading all week and I certainly was under the impression it'd get there officially.
