I like The Saturdays effort a lot more though. A lot more.

Take a bow is the absolute gem of this album. It would be a stupid mistake if they did not release it.

I think people find it too easy to scrutinize something that they would not normally label perfect or the norm. In this case, Leon. Leon firstly has had to follow up to Leona, a fantastic girl we have all seen achieve phenomenal success. But Leona is a girl and naturally vocally very different, so you cant really judge the two, but she herself is a very timid and a quiet person, so I think it is unfair to Leon for people not to accept this from him. Leon is also no Shayne ward in looks or charisma, but Leon is still very young, naive, and having been living a fairly sheltered life, people should give the guy some time to develop before branding him as a load of $hit or whatever as that is completely ignorant as he can sing but people refuse to believe it as he wasnt the expected winner and doesnt fall into the the catagory of perfect popstar for reasons already mentioned. From the first live performance to the final, he's come a hell of a long way, so with some time and guidance im sure he'll only improve further. The song is naff for a bloke to sing, so really those who are saying he's killed it should really consider that. Its a song sung by 2 of the best female vocalist's period and Leon gets critised for murdering it. Hello!? Its not a suitable choice of song for many artists to tackle, not the fact he cant p***ing sing. I may come across as a super Leon fan, but Im not, I just cant stand ignorance and over judgemental people and those who are harsh without reasoning. Give the lad a freaking break, he can sing, maybe not to everyones taste, but you cant deny he can sing, just like the Riddler, I thought he was a brilliant singer but his style of singing isnt my personal favourite to listen to. Leon may not have the vocal ability of Rhydian but thats because he is of a different genre and has not been professionally trained nor has the experience. Either of them deserved to win imo. He's managed to win the year with so much to compete with and to be compared to, which is why people are being unneccessarily harsh so its going to be hard for him but I wish him the best of luck as he's just a young lad trying to pursue a dream.

Agreed with UnfaithfulJack, 'Grace' is way better than RTS, and would be a far better contender. However I still voted for RTS :P

Okay, so I saw Simon live last night at Harrogate International Centre and I must say it was one of the best nights ever. He held it together perfectly, his voice sounded amazing and kept everyone entertained. He also generously stayed behind to sign CD's afterwards, & yes I did meet him, he's even more beautiful in real life. :wub: Well worth the money, everything I expected and more. Such a down to earth, courteous and talented man deserves every success, and I hope to God, Grace and RTS can reward him with that once again.

At least people seem to like Grace, as its clearly better than RTS, but I feel more promo & work is going into RTS :( because of the film. Grace needs to be heard as this is really the song that is going to sell as the double A side.

Aye he was on the lottery, he sang live too, which is also a plus. I only caught the last minute or so though <_< but he seemed to deliver a pretty sound performance from what I saw, although maybe a little shakey on the lower notes, but hey he does well to get so low. Just seen the Video for Ride the Storm on the Sun website, its quite impressive B)

I think you will grow to like it, at first i was like 'ok, this is different' but now I'm like 'I wanna learn how to surf y'know..' ha Grace is still my obv favourite, it may even be my fave of all time. Im so glad he's releasing this as this is as good as 'Sanctuary' which I think would have been great as a single, but obv never was, so Im very pleased he & Innocent have wised up to release this gem. Good to see most people are quite liking Grace! :wub:

He hasnt been dropped, they were just rumours. Simon is one of the most successful at Innocent records, but I think he is close if Ride the storm and Grace bomb. Grace is fecking awesome though so i hope it does well.

:o I thought there may be a better responce, as its pretty different to what he's been bringing out, and thats what people seem to critisise him for, being too samey. <_< But you don't strike me as Simon Webbe fans so I guess you may be more critical if you don't like him where I would be bias in comparrison. It is a grower! You will be humming to it after a few listens, I guarantee.

Best track on his album by far. This will go down a storm in clubs, a definite party starter. I just hope it doesn't get overplayed like 'What goes around...' as I adored this song before it was to be released but with it being thrust upon me everytime I switched the music channels on and havving to bare the numerous chavs blasting it out of their phones at any given moment, really kinda ruined it for me. But for now I love, love, love 'Way I are' and is an excellent choice by Timbo. The production of this song kinda kicks Storch in the knackers.

These, I could not agree with more. MSPFY, was destined to bomb with no promo, I was gutted when it only reached a poor, poor 45 but I expected it as Id seen nothing of him to sell it, and if I was not a firm fan of his already I wouldnt have known or cared about it. & although I didnt mind the edit of the song, I didnt like the fact it cut it about 40 secs short, esp as I think the album version finishes off rather beautifully. Cant wait for Grace though. Its the most listened song on my Itunes but Im no where near to tiring of it. Its so uplifting and I anticipate it to be on the same level of 'No worries', I just think it has a univeral appeal. Im hoping combined with a Killer theme tune for Fantastic 4 (which Im dying to hear) this could and hopefully should remake Simon, bringing him back on track and shift a few more copies of 'Grace' :dance: I couldnt think of anything better than for these to turn his fortunes, even greater than Sanctuary. (Most probably won't, but hey a girl can hope) I like Lemar, but after his first few singles, Ive tired of his songs. I like the bloke though, he seems quite charming. I hope in the future Simon can release another album, but I'd recommend he leave it longer than the year between 'Sanctuary' and 'Grace's release.

Song called 'Ride the storm' Oh. yes. & I heard he's releasing this as a double A-side with 'Grace' :dance: Even better! Best song on his Album! Hopefully this will pick up his sales. I dont understand why people lost interest in him, although I think he was too quick to release another album I still thinks its a pretty good one at that even if a little rushed! Its bloody fantastic, and yes he is a great singer, people just tend to think hes quite mono tone, but its only because songs such as Lay your hands, and No worries are in a low baritone. Did you hear his version of 'When we were young' by the Killers, it was rather impressive and quite awesome IMO. You and Val4jaden may like to know that I think the 2nd single is 'My soul pleads for you' or so I have heard through the grapevine but i do hope hope he does as it is an exceptional song, different and demonstrates a stronger vocal.
