    I often wonder how well NRO would have done with a good amount of promo. Such a missed opportunity because it should have been a mega hit for her :(

     

    I reckon it would have managed a few more weeks top 20 in the US, top 10 if radio was kinder. If she did promo in the UK it would have been an EASY top 10. Still shocked they never discounted it on one of the weeks it was just outside the top 10. Surely the biggest missed opportunity of her career?

     

    The burning boat in the background are a nice touch. There's not much more to it but Charli looks great and I still adore the vibe of the song.

     

    Are they trying to pretend Troye is doing all those stunts though?

    'Shine Ya Light' was Rita's first ever post-album single and is remembered for being the song she made her X-Factor performance debut with. It's not the mostly fondly remembered track among fans though, as can be seen by that 5.10 average. Luckily, the followup single was a bit stronger.

     

    As an individual track 1999 but when listening to Charli 2099.

     

    1999 doesn't fit on Charli but someone recommended to replace it with the Easyfun remix and it is so much more cohesive!
