  1. This era is still pretty much dead. The next single has to come out with the biggest of bangs to revive it, even if it is for a re-release

It's not a re-release either, more of a re-issue - Think Shawn Mendes 'There's Nothing Holding Me Back'.

As long as RCA can take ownership of the single so they can get played on Capital again. They'll be fine. (obviously the album will benefit from having more singles on it too)

  2. if their top 20 streak is over they might as well move on from this era. hopefully the new single will get back some of the momentum that they lost

The new single is still part of the same era. It would be silly to launch another era 4 months after their album came out, they have their LM5 tour in 7 months. They’re not Ariana Grande.

  3. A new edition of the album with some strong pop bangers is what is needed to put zest into the LM5 campaign.

I think it’ll just be one song, Pippa. They wouldn’t do a full release now. (Think About Us’ remix too I assume)

  4. Let’s be honest; the transition period between labels left them in a mess. Singles-wise they’ve done ok. #22 is a bit meh for them but is okay overall. But the album has massively suffered due to only having one hit on it. During Glory Days, they were onto single 3 now and had had two big hits on the album to help streams and sales. If the new single is good, the album should get a second wind, but RCA need to do better, otherwise they will end up like Catlights and Spotlights next era.

There's been heavy and strong rumours that Little Mix have a "brand new" single that'll be tacked onto the end of LM5.

Jesy seems to have further confirmed a new single is coming soon:

Given the messy and 2 months late release of TAU, and the fact streams of it aren't contributing to album sales, this seems like the wisest choice to me.

  6. My MCU ranking

    Avengers: Infinity War

    Captain America: Winter Soldier

    Black Panther

    Captain America: Civil War

    The Avengers

    *Captain Marvel*

    Spider-Man Homecoming

    Thor: Ragnarok

    Guardians of the Galaxy

    Ant-Man

    Avengers: Age of Ultron

    Ant Man & The Wasp

    Thor

    Iron Man 3

Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2

    Iron Man

    Captain America: The First Avenger

    Thor: A Dark World

    Doctor Strange

    Incredible Hulk

    Iron Man 2

Everything from Ant Man up are films I LOVE. And I like all of them other than the bottom 3 here.

  7. I’m so proud of this movie. All my life I’ve wanted to see a female superhero that got it 100% right. Wonder Woman was a good start but it’s villain and romance bogged it down a lot, despite Diana being amazing. This has overcome a massive backlash from online trolls and is having a huge success and it makes me so happy to see most people are enjoying it, like Black Panther, it’s such an important movie for Marvel.
  8. oh shit, were there TWO post-credits scenes? I left after the first one :'(

The middle one is the better one. The one right at the end is more a cute/comedy one. You’ll be able to catch it on YouTube soon.

  9. Really? I thought the narrative was pretty predictable and I've only seen about 9 Marvel films!

But overall I really enjoyed this. Was a nice introduction and added some depth to Captain Marvel and Nick Fury. The cat is the star of the show! I wonder how they will make Captain Marvel not as powerful in the Marvel world.

Yes, the Skrulls are historically evil and all the marketing had them out as such a huge theat, so the switch up was actually quite surprising shift and it worked really well, because they weren’t very interesting as villains, but made better protagonists.

  10. I’ve seen it twice now and it’s just brilliant. The story is (although the first 30 minutes are a bit slow) really well put together. There’s really strong twists and turns in the narratives that you don’t expect. And I like that while it’s funny, it’s never too over-reliant on humour as some of them.
  11. At this point I think it has to be the music. Bon Appetit and Swish Swish (despite the latter being amazing)

Wait do people here still think Bon Appetit is bad? It's highly seen among her fans as one of her best (or at least great) these days, it's much more well regarded than Swish Swish. Like on the other forums it always gets an outpouring of love.

(Obviously it was still a bad single choice as it was too out there to connect with the wider GP)
