    Baby has slipped out of Top 100 :( Really want this one to take off, hopefully it will be added to Hot Hits soon...

     

    It's actually higher than I expected it to be without Hot Hits support. I expected it to be out of the top 200 by now. People are clearly enjoying the song though.

    'I Miss You' is so underrated. The Cahill remix goes off.

     

    I low-key kind of hate 'Tears'.

     

    I Miss You gets slack because it's kind of ballady, and I can see why people might not like it because it's not as uptempo as the others, but lyrically it's their best ever and the production and instrumental and how it builds it great. Seeing them do it live with those weird wind instruments (no idea the name) is impressive.

    I'm obsessed. I love it and I'm so glad it's smashing, just like she said in the song.

     

    A bit confused as to how this is doing SO much better than Tears did at first, when that had a huge build up, loads of hype and a brilliant video released the same day. This felt very cute little surprise release with some thrown together artwork and no video. It is slightly confusing to me, regardless of how much I love the song.

    I think people are overestimating the power of Hot Hits... if song doesn't click, any exposure wouldn't make it to top ten.

     

    I think it-s bit of stretch to say "all Carly needs is a Hot Hits add".

     

    I agree. A song needs to be popular as well as on Hot Hits. Like Back and Forth has been #1 on Hot Hits for a few days and isn’t top 10 on Spotify. Clearly it’s a popular song but there’s only so much Hot Hits can help.

    I'm not sure it would really be beneficial for them tbh! No one is really interested in these BBC specials, Ariana only got 1.4m and Harry Styles even less (and this is BBC One)

     

    There’s would likely be ITV though, the specials depend on the artist, I think they’d manage at least 2 million viewers.

    Ariana has a BBC one this year and Harry Styles last year - Olly murs has an ITV one coming up too. I remember Girls Aloud having one at their height too.

     

    Just having a little chat with shady Cqmerqn and it is his opinion is that it wouldn’t make sense for Little Mix to have one yet and it would be weird. What do y’all think? I feel like they’re long overdue one personally!

    Can anyone explain what this song's chances now are of getting added to the Radio 1 / Capital playlists? Is it bad it didn't get added instantly? I know some of Clean Bandit's past hits did, but not all of them?

     

    What are the factors that will determined whether radio takes it up? I really hope it gets a chance to be a hit in this country!

     

    It’s already added to Capital, they’re playing it lots. Radio 1 didn’t insta-add it but they probably added Solo faster because Demi is a much bigger name than Marina, it’ll be added soon!

    Btw, in terms of the Michael McIntyre Show, these are the air dates:

    17th of November

    24th November

    1st of December

    8th of December

    15th of December

    24th of December (Christmas special)

    5th of January

    12th is January

     

    They went in on the 3rd recording but I don’t think the segments are shown in order. It would be nice if they were on the first show as it’s when the album is out.

    A really healthy boost on Kworb, hopefully if ITunes stays relatively stable and the Spotify number 1 maintains, an official number 1 could be on the cards

     

    It's very unlikely, looks like Gaga will overtake on Spotify very soon (tomorrow?). But honestly, I'm really, really pleased about how it's doing. It looks like it'll have great longevity.

     

    EMAs is exciting, but it is really true that they have no effect, it's not really "promo" the way a lot of fans think it is, it's shown at like 11pm on Channel 5. I'm mostly just excited for the performance.
