  1. Same people who are still streaming Blinding Lights... in 2025 ? It's beyond me
  2. Yes I think it means they weren't far behind because Definitely Maybe was in the top 5 in the last midweeks... I also thought Time Flies had a chance to go back to #1 Ewwwwwww that Family Matters track again, time to mute the show.
  3. Yes, I don't understand. This is the first entry ever for Slide Away and they skip it for Sombr which is played like every week ? seriously ? They're gonna play Wonderwall later, my God. 😅
  4. THANK GOD they skipped Beautiful Things !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. I can't stand that Family Matters track. Ewww
  6. It would be great to have a new update of Oasis songs totals as they've been in the top 30 for 4 weeks now. I guess Wonderwall passed the 5 million mark officially (it was at 4.97M in early May).
  7. I think we all got it in the first place...
  8. Yes, Paranoid is so good, timeless classic !

Tyler the Creator seems to be less powerful with this new album than Chromakopia. On Spotify, he's falling a lot faster : CHROMAKOPIA DAY 1 #1 (NEW) St. Chroma = 617,471 streams #2 (+47) Noid = 516,366 streams #3 (NEW) Rah Tah Tah = 492,250 streams #6 (NEW) Darling, I = 464,279 streams #9 (NEW) Hey Jane = 371,070 streams DAY 2 #3 (-2) St. Chroma = 398,232 streams #7 (-5) Noid = 342,540 streams #9 (-3) Darling, I = 330,713 streams #11 (-8) Rah Tah Tah = 305,980 streams #16 (-5) Sticky = 244,039 streams DON'T TAP THE GLASS DAY 1 #4 (NEW) Big Poe = 333,015 streams #6 (NEW) Sugar On My Tongue = 303,113 streams #11 (NEW) Sucka Free = 272,798 streams #13 (NEW) Ring Ring Ring = 252,932 streams #15 (NEW) Mommanem = 242,986 streams DAY 2 #23 (-17) Sugar On My Tongue = 182,346 streams #26 (-22) Big Poe = 179,293 streams #35 (-22) Ring Ring Ring = 156,468 streams #36 (-25) Sucka Free = 156,268 streams #59 (-43) Stop Playing With Me = 137,222 streams I can't wait for the next midweeks but now I'm not sure he could do 25k like Chromakopia. I don't see him having more pure sales this time (7,324 CDs, 2,419 vinyl, 170 downloads for Chromakopia) and, based on the 2nd day on all platforms, units from streaming should be smaller (15,166 units from streaming for Chromakopia). Ultimately, he may not be a threat for #1 this week...

For albums, yes but I don't know if it's also the case for singles. I get Graham's point but I'm not sure it's the best solution : for example, an album can chart higher than another one because it's more expensive while it actually sold less units. You know what I mean ? ACR is ridiculous because a chart-run single can be much better than the track really does in streaming/sales while another track isn't eligible to the top 100 because it's an old one. OCC should accept that a track can be a massive hit for weeks rather than giving a newer track a chance to get an unjustified #1. Also, they should extend the limit to 5 tracks per artist in the top singles. For example, we saw the mess that generated the 3 tracks limit with Sabrina Carpenter whose tracks suddenly disappeared then reappeared, etc. The same occured in Irish charts with Noah Kahan and Zach Bryan in the last weeks/months because of the mix between ACR and the 3 tracks limit.

Imagine Alex Warren ends behind Time Flies, Morning Glory AND Definitely Maybe. 😅🤭

Tyler The Creator dropped a new album today and sold 25k last year when Chromakopia was also released by surprise on Monday. Do you think he could do the same ? I don't think Alex Warren is gonna stay at #1 by the end of the week.

I didn't know that ! That's absurd, so Thursday streams are counted in Friday units ? lol It may explain why Sunday streams are not included in Monday midweeks...

Do you think Time Flies... can stay at #1 in the end ? Compared with first midweeks : +3k for Wet Leg, +5k for Oasis who's coming back tonight in Manchester (so probably a surge in streams today AND tomorrow). Last week, Oasis did same figures in Wednesday midweeks : 12,796 units for Time Flies... (which finished with 21,015 units), 9,868 units for Morning Glory (which finished with 15,733 units).
  15. Sorry but what's Calvin's bingo ? 😐
  16. To me, Rein Me In was definitely not the worst played song on "the show".
  17. So frustrating... She's been one of the best seller for a year now. Couldn't she get out just for this week ? Anyway, 3 Oasis albums in the top 4, it's great and hopefully Sabrina isn't #2.
  18. Champagne Supernova is my all-time Oasis favourite but let's be honest : it's always 3rd or 4th most streamed songs on Spotify etc. (and I'd loooove to see it first 😢) Acquiesce at #17, what a great song ! Who said it could be #1 this week ? 😅
  19. I'm so excited, I want now #1 for Acquiesce lol There's just one thing I don't get : they did'nt reset Oasis tracks in the midweeks ? I'm surprised not hearing Live Forever or Don't Look Back Anger yet as they were supposed to be bottom top 40. They're finally top 50 or they got reset and they have a chance to reach top 20-30 ? By the way, I know this is UK topic but Time Flies... is #1 in Ireland this week (new peak as it reached #2 last year) !
  20. You really think Acquiesce has a chance to reach #1 ? 😲
  21. Slide Away (Live In Cardiff 4 July '25) is now #1 😎

That was me 😭 My message was a bit ambiguous : of course, AM is their most popular album but what I wanted to say is that, except for this one, people listens mostly their 2 first albums (like Oasis). AM's chart-run is incredible (616 weeks in top 100 and it fell off just one week (December 2016) since its release almost 12 years ago !) but the rest of their discography actual streams concentrate on their debut. Whatever People... is at 2.4M now and it seems AM will never catch it up (2.1M) even if it's still charting higher. My point was that Standing on the Shoulder of Giants is like Humbug. Except for anniversary reissues, people don't seem to care a lot. AM is kinda Arctic Monkey's Morning Glory. Even if Be Here Now was much bigger than Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino, few years later, people are not really interested in the 2 post AM albums which are boring. Oasis & Arctic Monkeys early careers are pretty similar. It's much more rock than the rest and I think that's what people love about these 2 bands. OK I thought you already wrote something 😆

    I don't think so, why ? 🙄

The Masterplan was #50 and Be Here Now #67 at the first midweeks but, as gasman449 said, they mostly played songs from their early career. It's like Arctic Monkeys whose 2 first albums are the most popular and the most streamed/purchased (with AM, of course). It seems like people don't really care (or like) the other albums even if they had strong sales back in the time. We'll never know but I wonder how many sales Morning Glory and Definitely Maybe would have if Time Flies... didn't exist. The OCC separates streams between the albums related to the songs, right ? If so, Wonderwall streams, for example, are presumably dispatched between Time Flies... and Morning Glory (what a mess 😅). Oasis has also another greatest hits (Stop The Clocks) which includes Champagne Supernova (unlike Time Flies...). I don't think Stop the Clocks is still "relevant" but it was in the iTunes top 30 last weekend (even if downloads volume is very poor nowadays) so it "steals" sales from Time Flies as well... you see what kind of mess this is ? 🤣

Vice-versa. They just created English versions to impact the international market like they did for the 1st album. Initially, Tilted was a French song called Christine. They know that songs in total French had no chance to chart outside France, Belgium and Switzerland.
