Thanks again for your comments Mikey, it's great to finally post my chart again! :D  at you liking so many this week! :o I notice your  for Hot Chip aswell, brilliant track and a shame I never peaked it higher than 15. This week it actually became the lowest peaking song to make 10 weeks in the Top 50! :o

Cheers for your comments Cornholio! The All-American rejects are very unlucky, it was such a hard chart to compile this week, and by far the strongest so far in 27 weeks! Any other week they would have actually climber up from 6! :o

Wyclef Jean - Hips Don't Lie 08 Madonna - Get Together 07 Lily Allen - Smile 09 Razorlight - In The Morning 07 Cascada - Everytime We Touch 07 Nelly Furtado - Maneater 09 Gnarls Barkley - Smiley Faces 07 Fall Out Boy - A Little Less Sixteen Candles I really hope Snow Patrol and Supermode are massive hits for you, two of the best tracks of the year so far!

My most hated songs in the first six months of 2006 are Beyonce - Check On It, Ne-Yo - So Sick and Busta Rhymes - Touch It. Honourable mentions to Nelly and Kelly Rowland.

In doing so they are only the second act to achieve four weeks on top (shared with Arctic Monkeys' "When The Sun Goes Down"), and are the first to do it consecutively. A lot of records were indeed set this week, with The Automatic's "Monster" finishing as runner-up for the fourth straight week - also a record, and The Feeling's "Fill My Little World" set an eight week YTD total only bettered by the aforementioned Arctic Monkeys track. Elsewhere on the chart, Razorlight's comeback track "In The Morning" climbs to No.3, The Kooks follow-up to my No.1 hit Naive, "She Moves In Her Own Way" stalls at No.4 for a second week. The Fratellis move up to No.7 with "Henrietta" and Bob Sinclar becomes the second dance song inside the top ten this week with "World Hold On". The first dance song in the top ten this week, and the highest new entry honour goes to Rogue Traders and their fantastic tune "Voodoo Child", and it is expected to make further progress in the following weeks. Dirty Pretty Things follow up No.3 hit "Bang Bang You're Dead" with a slightly disappointing debut for their new track "Deadwood". The Rifles new track "She's Got Standards" has been very well recieved on all fronts and becomes their highest peaking song for me, already beating the No.32 peak of "Repeated Offender". Rooster's comeback single "Home" is disappointing compared to their older stuff, and gets a slightly lowly debut at No.32. It's almost dance overload this week as another song debuts at No.38, this time for Justice vs. Simian! Completing the new songs front, there is a climber into the top 50 this week from Scottish-Italian singer Paolo Nutini and his song "Last Request". He climbs to No.49 this week. Possible chart entries next week: Franz Ferdinand - Eleanor Put Your Boots On Gnarls Barkley - Smiley Faces James Dean Bradfield - That's No Way To Tell A Lie James Morrison - You Give Me Something McFly - Please Please Red Hot Chili Peppers - Tell Me Baby Rihanna - Unfaithful Sean Paul - Never Gonna Be The Same The Flaming Lips - The W.A.N.D. There are a lot of top names set to enter the chart next week, with Gnarls Barkley, Franz Ferdinand and Rihanna especially recieving the most attention. Expect those to debut inside the top twenty at least. Red Hot Chili Peppers' new song "Tell Me Baby" is starting to grow on me finally, but will it be enough to avoid a shock entry outside the top twenty? At the top end of the chart Muse look unbeatable at the moment, but Razorlight and Rogue Traders are progressing rapidly, and there should be a very high new entry for Gnarls Barkley "Smiley Faces" Who'll be on top? Find out next week!

Someone would have to want to have sex with her for that to happen! ;)

Cheers Tyron! :D If Shakira does manage it she's really in distinguished company :o

Bloody hell that's one massive drop-off for Oasis! :o
  12. Haguey posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
You both misunderstand me! :P I mean a song that climbed to number one once, then did it again - for example if Shakira does it it will be 54-3-2-1-2-1 :P

Does anyone know the last time a song climbed to No.1, dropped down, and then re-climbed to No.1? :o It must be rare :o
  16. Haguey posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
It's partly due to downloading, partly due to disinterest in singles, and the fact that people will buy an album with the artist and song on it for £8.99, rather than £3.99 for a three track single with the song and a few remixes on it.

    Any news on Muse?
  18. Haguey posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Come on Muse, prove me wrong and leave the ladies trailing in your dust!
  19. This will probably do very well, especially as it appeals to the same people who bought The Kooks - Naive. Prediction: No.5, but hanging around for ages.

Depending on what the sales are like this week, I think the top ten next week could be something like: [01](01) Nelly Furtado - Maneater [02](03) Shakira ft. Wyclef Jean - Hips Don't Lie [03](**) Sergio Mendes ft. Black Eyed Peas - Mas Que Nada [04](02) Sandi Thom - I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker [05](**) Muse - Supermassive Black Hole [06](**) Lostprophets - Rooftops (Liberation Broadcast) [07](04) The Automatic - Monster [08](**) The Zutons - Valerie [09](06) Infernal - From Paris To Berlin [10](09) Baddiel/Skinner/Lightning Seeds - Three Lions ...maybe. :P Hopefully Muse will be much higher though!

Shakira may just have the type of song that hangs around for ages. Kind of like Whenever Wherever (though Hips Don't Lie isn't a patch on that!) :P

As a normal song it's good, but it's a terrible football song.

Oh I really must pick up The Feeling album if album tracks are as good as this!

YES! Amazing how two appaling artists can come together and create something quite good!
