If they release new material next year I would expect to see Number One singles from Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Bruno Mars. Shawn Mendes will have another 'There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back' type hit just before he goes on tour again. Ellie's album will peak between #6 and #10.
  3. Adjusted! And added Cheryl and Ava Max whilst I was at it.
  4. Updated for the first time since June. Ariana's landed 4 solo Top 40 hits since then, and Jess Glynne has added 2. Rita Ora, Lady Gaga, Zara Larsson and Pink have also added to their tally's whilst Halsey has scored her first Top 40 hit as a solo artist. Freya Ridings and Billie Eilish have marked their first entries as well.

They got the hit single and a (US) number one album, it seems like the team/label just wasn't bothered about maintaining it after that.

I hope Youth becomes the next single, it could be very big with the right push. 'Lost In Japan' is like one step forward two steps back in terms of chart success at the minute. I can't see it re-entering the Top 40.
  7. I hope Pink gets another top ten hit because she's on 19 at the moment and it's not doing wonders for my OCD.
  8. I hope it can push back into the Top 40 at some point. I wonder if he'll squeeze in X Factor? It's almost complete lack of streaming is slowing it's progress way down

This, All For You and No Tears Left To Cry are going to be fighting it out for my favourite pop song of the year. It's songs like this that made me sad pop isn't as dominant as it was a few years back, because the qualities is as good as ever if you look for it.
  10. The discussion is irrelevant anyway we all know Parade were the best UK girl group of all-time

Swae Lee's voice is gorgeous. I'd take him over a million Quavo features. Pleased Shawn's managed to re-enter the Top 200; hope everything starts to fall into place for Lost In Japan to become the big hit it deserves now. B-List on R1, Video's just been released, back in the streaming charts....
  12. Absolutely love the video, definitely his best to date!
  13. This has been such a disappointing and frustrating era. Someone's really effed up and dropped the ball somewhere. I don't understand why there hasn't been a proper follow up single yet.
  14. Surely Britney's singles not doing major business after her shows can be attributed to the fact that most of the people at her concert presumably already own them?? If she was doing the rounds on TV/Radio and playing them there then I'd get the critique but if you're seeing Britney Spears in concert you definitely already have a copy of Toxic or Baby One More Time somewhere.
  15. Do you have the total sales for Shawn Mendes' first two albums (Handwritten, Illuminated) and Ariana Grande's first three (Yours Truly, My Everything, Dangerous Woman)

I feel like Boo'd Up is going to have a very steady climb and smash around October/November. It's definitely more of a winter warmer than a summer smash anwyay.

'Youth' by Shawn Mendes will be given a proper push and become a big hit 'Eastside' will have a lengthy Top 10 stint.
  18. I'm also delighted Camila's managed to go Gold with her album. I was sure she'd fade away after leaving Fifth Harmony so the fact she's come out and become more successful than they ever were is very nice to see.
  19. I mean, it depends what he/his team want at the end of the day. Youth is their best chance of getting another hit from this album. It's the most commercial sounding song on the album, features Khalid who's becoming more and more popular and with the right marketing/video/promotion considering the songs subject matter it could easily become a very big hit. But he's gearing up for a colossal world tour next year and has a pretty filled schedule with all these festival performances, so I'm not sure. In My Blood was a respectable hit but a significantly smaller one than his previous four (despite peaking five places higher than Mercy, I think it's well below it in sales) and the album has performed moderately so in terms of tracking his progression into the "big leagues" this era is in need of a bit of a push
  20. Pleased to see that Shawn Mendes has reached 60k and the Top 40, he needs to push his next single (whether it's Nervous or not idk at this point) when he comes over for those appearances in August/September. I could see Youth really taking off with a bit of a push.
  21. I'm definitely going to have to look into this album, cos this and the other 3 singles have all been flawless bops
  22. That's what concerns me though. It's been 3/4 weeks now, if they were going to add it you'd have thought they'd have already done so
  23. Doesn't feel like this is going to take off, been a few weeks since the video now and it's doing nothing on iTunes/Spotify This era feels like it's losing steam commercially, though Shawn's actual clout as a "star" seems to be on the rise
  24. Youngblood is fantastic! Their best ever

    'Mutual' is the BOP
