Shawn seems to be struggling this era for some reason

In My Blood is fast becoming my favourite Mendes song, but I hope Youth is a bit more commercial so it can get him another top ten as I don't IMB has a chance now (unless it gets a major boost from somewhere)

Thinking Shawn's drop is just the fanbase buys dying down, the he'll rise again as airplay begins and more people hear it. I can see quite a lot of older audiences (than his fan base anyway) taking to In My Blood tbh.

George Ezra could be a proper shout for number one then, if Drake's on ACR now (which I'm assuming he is?)

Lost In Japan is great, but it honestly sounds like he just re-recorded a Timberlake demo. It's even got 2001 Michael Jackson vibes. Still, have yet to hear a bad song from this young man (I Know What You Did Last Summer has become a lot more bareable to me now I actually like Camila's voice) but have to agree that In My Blood is miles better, and a song I can see connecting with a wider audience so hopefully it should have some staying power over the next few weeks.

I know it won't happen on the actual charts because of streaming, but that Shawn/George Top 2 is a very pleasing sight to me. Lost in Japan is VERY Timberlake to me. In a good way as (up until recently anyway) being Timberlake-esque was only a good thing to me. It sounds so much like Take Back The Night.

There seems to be less and less categories every year, I hate the fact they got rid of Best International Album and International Breakthrough.

They both did. By which I mean she just released two entirely different songs named 'I'm Real' and 'Ain't It Funny' both of which featured Ja Rule. We definitely got the solo Ain't It Funny as a single in August 2001, the new version wasn't released until March 2002 and has its own credit by the OCC. I'm Real is harder to define as it was released in the UK in November 2001 months after the version with Ja Rule had become a #1 hit in America, so I just assumed it was that version that was released over here too.

Features Tinie Tempah. As for the J-Lo track to be honest I didn't even remember there was a version without Ja Rule. Was that the UK release of I'm Real then? I left it out because I remember the version with Ja Rule getting a lot of video and airplay.
