The song has always had quite a lot of fan support so I guess they thought they’d give it a run. Tom rather than James Arthur? Dunno if that helps it or not. I guess not as James is a bigger artist and his fans were already primed for him on this song.

Will definitely get this album. Shame this single isn’t a bit stronger, her voice is so good.

Thatcher was horrific, but given the historic Brexit and Covid disasters I’d give that a ‘yes’! Obv the Kunts song may now be getting support from Left, Right and Nowhere in particular. Interesting how Slade Merry Xmas Everybody has slid in popularity. It used to be the Christmas song, now #85. Mariah, after the Osbournes, used to a bit of a joke and is now is the UK favourite...

But is that because Ella isn’t viewed as ‘cool’ or appealing to a younger demographic? Likewise Ella’s Youtube views are massively lower than Becky... It may well be that Ella has an older fan base and/or she has a more confused image ranging from Adele2 Pop to RnB Soul singer to EDM Queen.. In the end I think she needs to go the Adele2 Pop route, but understand she has to make a living now and maybe the EDM route is her best chance for £££ right now.

Still fighting on iTunes back up to #33 (I think mainly due to Capital radio plays). Interesting that: Ella is #33 iTunes and #316 on Apple Music Becky Hill is #267 on iTunes #88 on Apple Music! Any thoughts why that ‘reversal’ might be??

#33 on the ‘Big Top 40’ whatever that’s worth. Holding well on iTunes at #24, but nowhere near the top 200 on Spotify or AM. Seems to be a recurring problem! Whereas Beck Hill under the same management has exactly the reverse problem ....

I’m seeing her at #447 on Apple Music. Interesting how her streaming is generally so poor vs her iTunes performance. Does she have an older fan demographic?? Interesting comparing her to Becky Hill- they have the same management for instance...

Another good iTunes start for Ella! Will she get the Spotify push she needs to make a top 40?? I bet Becky charts higher (good luck to both of them btw!)
