Agreed. But I get the feeling they hoped Glorious would break as a single... The question remains whether her own writing is strong enough, it’s doubtful. This is pleasant album filler stuff but never gonna trouble the charts. There is still a window to pull something out if they change direction and move pretty damn quick to a quality single but hey she’ll probably end up doing something with Rudimental in June then release a mediocre self penned album next summer.

#8 in album chart. No idea how the two newly released tracks are doing single wise. They’re not being pushed as singles.

I am going on twitter Radio 1 play bots. Which seem to show most plays 4am - 6am. Maybe they are rubbish. I’m sure you are right, which is good news.

Up to 42 on Spotify. So getting stronger overall. Radio 1 still seems to be playing this mainly middle of the night though, which is a shame. See how they playlist this as it charts higher, B list last 3 weeks i think.

Ella’s Glorious EP out this Friday. 2 new tracks - Friends and Hold On Me. Here’s a clip of Friends....@1190599257998401536 Certainly nothing seems very commercial on this EP. She needs to decide if she wants to go mainstream pop, or be a niche RnBish album artist doing smaller gigs.

Yeah agree This Is Real is much stronger especially the chorus. But there are some very nice sections to this and it highlights her great vocal skills. Good Ella cross bounce to This Is Real from this on iTunes. Jax might be happy after all.!

Not aware of any other collabs. She obv has her EP launch and London gig, plus hint of another gig. The concern is her own material currently isn’t strong enough. I think she had a ‘dark retrospective’ phase of writing. She needs to move on to more positive, fun, outward looking music imho. This and the Jax single is a great opportunity. She needs to take it.

Yeah the new video is a bit flat. It is such a bop you just want something at a concert or club with the crowd going nuts on the chorus.
