I don't think 1000s of fans are waiting like the cavalry to save this one, her only saving grace is she has a full week next week and she is up against ever weakening competition. It would have been horrendous if a few more big names had released nearer Xmas.

The Louisa song is just poor and people dont want to buy it. I wouldnt generalise too much off the back of its performance. Although the show is gradually losing its popularity it still has quite an impact, whether that's a positive impact is another matter.....

Yup it's a bad song that suits Louisa's style rather than R&B. Apparently she won at 53%, if they had won with it Lord knows what the chart would have looked like...blood bath!

It being a brilliant track helped it :0) and tbf he did a really good vocal on it. It actually was a hit in quite a few European countries. [it remains the only XFactor winners song I can recall buying]. I assume they will take quite a bit of time with Louisa's album. They need to understand her market and sound- because I dont think its that obvious, especially if they keep Ella on board.

You gotta feel sorry for these winners who go through all that and then Cowell drops this sort of dirge in their lap to kick off their career with a misfire. Hope she doesnt get tagged with 'flop' because this song will likely make pretty negative press. The only decent winners song for a long time has been James Arthur Impossible.

Louisa up to #5 but let's face it, it's a real lemon of a song to launch your career as a young artist. No idea why Cowell came up with that choice.

So Delerium did drop 10 places, and finished at #13. It is at #31 at the moment....

It looks like Sigma has now had 3 duds out of their last 4 releases, Glitterball doing decently. Do you reckon their formula has run its course? I can see them continuing to have a summer song success but maybe it's nearing over for them...

This is precisely what I have tried to explain. Given where she is now you would expect big sales, consistently high chart positions and staying power and big responses to performances. It hasnt happened recently (in the UK).

Little or no sales boost from that performance and Delirium looks set to drop 10 or more places this week. I get the feeling her star is fading a bit in the UK after peaking with Love Me Like You Do. She needs a strong single to recover, I don t think Army is that single.

Will Jess make iTunes #1 after her XFactor performance? Looks like it may be a close run thing, but I think she will....
