  1. Eurgh I forgot how much Olly Alexander annoys me. The singles from their debut were brilliant and this feels very flat on first listen in comparison.
  2. According to Twitter, Ticketmaster US made a booboo and briefly put a sale up for a show in Philadelphia!!!! :o

The EP came out a few weeks ago and is really good! The title track is great as is Blood Stains
  4. This is such an earworm and I am pleased shes featuring on another track outside of her comfort genre! I'm glad
  5. Her page on Fascination management hasn't been updated since Hair Down so this is still looking increasingly unlikely :(

Frustratingly according to SetlistFM, she had a different setlist last night which didn't include . I'll be pressed if she does a Birdy and does a different setlist for EVERY single show :drama:

After purchasing the album and listening in full, this has definitely grown on me so much and is definitely up in the top four along with WAU, Barbies and Where We Go. It definitely wasn't as instant as WAU but I'm thoroughly enjoying this at the moment! The video is pleasant to watch with some good choreo as well but I do think the ending with poor Channing Tatum being tied up was a bit random

Agreed! She’s definitely stayed longer than anyone would have expected after All About That Bass - Lips are Movin’, No and to some extent Me Too were decently sized to help shake off the one hit wonder label. Just a question of when and if her 15 minutes will end..
  9. It would be quite a nice touch to have a medley of solo songs where they each perform one of their songs.
  10. Could be a feature and EP for the time being to hold us over. She took quite a while on album one and shes only been working since October on album two so seems quite premature.

I totally forgot about that for a minute! :o

Starting to lose interest in this season unfortunately. The last few episodes have been substandard compared to the excitement and thrill of the earlier episodes -

I'm still very much in the thinking that this won't be anytime soon but if we look at the album release pattern of her previous albums: Dangerously in Love (2003) B'Day (2006) I Am... Sasha Fierce (2008) 4 (2011) Beyoncé (2013) Lemonade (2016) 3 years, 2 years, 3 years, 2 years, 3 years and if that pattern continues then we could get album seven this year if she continues that pattern...

Which DJ Khaled track ft. Beyoncé do you prefer? Discuss.
  15. For me, and I know it is approaching only six years old, but Starships is still an absolute tune. Whenever it comes on in a club it just goes off every time and video is just so camp it's great  In terms of not so aged well, Check It Out just sounds dated and the Cheryl feature serves perfectly as to why.
  16. Just thinking back over what is approaching a decade in music, what Nicki Minaj tracks or features have aged the best for you? What tracks on the otherside, do you think have aged badly and sound outdated? Discuss.

Speaking as someone who used to post quite regularly on this site, said comments are deterring myself from posting because they are so tiring, not just here but in the wider areas of the forum too.

Despite the weather issues, the tour kicked off as planned last night with the following setlist as taken from Setlistfm. It's quite a decent setlist but I can't at her NOT

But hes moaning about the length of all things when you could moan about so much else if you didn't like it, which was what my first point was about?! The lyrics, the production, the styling, the video, anything else! Especially with the way the charts work too. Shes not a massive name as after "No" during the last campaign she definitely lost her potential star status in the UK in my opinion which is a shame so I don't understand how it can be labeled a flop - it's not like this has come on the back of All About That Bass or even No! Forgive me, but coming from the poster who thought New Rules was rubbish, claimed that NR wouldn't be "quite that big" and labels everything a flop unless it charts top 40 straight away, I won't quite agree with your predictions at the moment until proved otherwise. Currently #47 UK iTunes and #3 US iTunes!
  20. Ready For The Good Life really did deserve at least top 40 :( such a groovy tune!

It isn't but I don't understand how it can be suggested that you can dislike the song and it's length and then want it to be longer so you can enjoy it? It doesn't make sense. It's been out less than 24 hours and just because it's got support in that time doesn't mean it's going to be an instant hit and it's currently 48 on iTunes. :drama:

Not entirely unusual - if you look at Love So Soft, Wannabe and Boss they're both of a similar length give or take 15-20 seconds and are still enjoyable as lead singles in pop. There are posts in this thread which critique over length who didn't like the track so I don't think they'd want it to be longer would they? I just feel with Meghan (and I'd classify myself as a casual fan) that anything she puts her name to or does, will instantly receive a majority criticism in the similar way Jessie J does.

Why does length matter though? Lots of artists have intros and interludes which are short but doesn't make them any less enjoyable than tracks which are longer?

People moaning about the length of this just goes to show how people will go to any extent to moan! First listen it’s very enjoyable as it’s all very “Hair Down” - infectious
  25. Oooooo another feature! :o I’m intrigued!!!
