This discussion definitely took an ugly, unnecessary turn. I didn't see anything terrible in Joel's original post to be fair (even if I don't agree with it all). It was just his opinion. We could have just disagreed, as we do in this forum from time to time and that's OK.

I also like the Platinum edition idea - would be easy to sell (and impressive)

Also have to disagree with the above comment about the buzz dying down for them now. If anything, this has given them further buzz. People are going to be interested to see what they come up with now.

My 2 cents I do feel that something happened behind the scenes and it wasn't just a 'I don't want to do this anymore'. I hope whatever it is sorts itself out as it would be such a shame if their friendship was ruined because of it. I genuinely believe they were friends - you couldn't fake it for that long. In terms of not tagging Jesy etc - this must have been an ask of hers / lawyers seeing as no-one (not even mutuals) tagged her in any of the posts about SM being number 1.

Great that it's stable at 2 I think this week it becomes their longest running top 5

I think they will be very successful as a trio. It pains me to say it, but I do think they will do more things now - be more in our faces, travel more, awards shows etc. I don't know why, but I always felt Jesy not wanting to do things (for whatever valid reason she had) may have stopped them doing more stuff. I feel bad for thinking that way, but these 3 were always the ones that were game for a laugh, happy to go with it and always present / on it.

I'd be here for an international push for SM if it happens. Won't hold my breath but would love to see it

It’s an amazing song and would have done well whenever it was released. If it had been released at a time when they could do the usual promo campaign, it would be even bigger.
