I guess you can never be sure, but I don't think Perrie is the type to date someone for publicity. In interviews she seems to do everything she can to avoid discussing her & Zayn.

When I was a bit younger, I had very little or no money to buy all the albums I wanted, so I would mainly download apart from acts I really liked. As I started earning my own money, I continued with the downloading and then went and bought if I liked it or when it was reduced. I did find though that it took away a lot of the surprise and excitement of buying a new CD album and listening to it for the first time, so I've cut back with downloads and buy more physicals now than I ever have done. I still can't resist downloading some albums before release though, even if I've pre-ordered.

I don't know how official this is, but yesterday, one of the MTV music channels were playing the top 40 "biggest hits" of 2013. What About Us was something like 35 or 37.
  6. Higher! Followed by All Fired Up, What About Us and Ego

That's a nice little increase for the album. Hopefully it continues to rise a little.
  9. MERRY CHRISTMAS and time for the last #25SaturDaysOfXmas prize! Enter here to win 2 tickets + M&G to our 2014 tour! *not allowed to post links* Dates for the 2014 tour are going to be announced sooooon! Soon as in.... never?
  10. You could say the same about the tour but they've still put a meet and greet competition on today
  11. But it's not normal to have 3 years between tours is it? At least not for a pop band. If you think about the likes of Girls Aloud, One Direction, McFly, Little Mix - they constantly record, promote, tour every year to keep the interest there, but The Sats just aren't doing that. In some ways, it's good that they do things at a slower pace and it keeps all the girls happier, and therefore hopefully will be happy to continue with the band for longer, but it still feels like there's not enough effort put in. There's nothing ludicrous about releasing tour tickets after a number one single, as opposed to on Xmas day when their album isn't even top 200 and there are no singles in the top 40. Mess.
  12. They've probably changed their minds knowing The Sats. They've decided to release Somebody Else's Life.
  13. It really is rediculous. They need to make decisions and STICK to them. This tour just keeps getting pushed back. What on earth is going on? We've gone from tickets going on sale a few weeks after the Gentleman release, when Frankie's back, and now this. Why are they giving away tour tickets to a tour that's now going to be taking place at the end of 2014? It seems far too early. I think the best thing they could have done was book arenas and put tickets on sale for an arena tour as soon as What About Us went to number one. I realise there was no album at the time, and the tour probably wouldn't even have a name, but they could have sold so many tickets by now. I realise that Frankie can't just drop Parker at the drop of the hat, but it looks completely stupid to go back for one performance and then change her mind and decide she needs more time off. It's just unprofessional. I realise she is entitled to a lengthy maternity leave but it's a bit different when you're part of a popband where you need to constantly work to promote the band. As I fan, I am losing the will to live with them  it's been over two years since they toured. We have been waiting far too long for this. I honestly don't care and see no embarrassment with them going back to theatres. They could still put on a decent show. If they make a decision to take a break, I don't see how on earth it's justified when they're hardly at work anyway.
  14. How on earth did you notice this? Haha. This is certainly very interesting, and I agree with the points above as to why it's been changed. They were the reasons that came to my head also. It looks like they would rather have a higher chart position than more sales if they are going to be doing it this way. Thinking too much into this, but does anyone think it could do with an edit before it's released? I really don't like the middle 8 and think it flows better without it.
  15. I get this, and yes they have mentioned it, but Frankie is back at work now. They have said they hope to tour in the new year... we are 2 weeks away from the new year. Unless they release another single, which we haven't heard anything about, what are they going to do to promote the tour? Most of the time, the tickets are put on sale at the same time as a single or album release, but we've now had (probably) all the singles from the album, and also the album release. When we actually see a list of dates that's when I will believe it.

Looks like it's slowing down now. Hopefully Top of the Pops will help What About Us.
  17. Until they come to us with some concrete information, I don't believe we will get a new single, nevermind a tour (arenas, theatres or academies). Dropping hints and mentioning another single does not confirm anything. At least not with The Saturdays anyway. It seems they never stick to anything. There have been so many cancelled single releases - think about One Shot, Here Standing, Faster, The Way You Watch Me. Some of them were even sent off for remixing. They also said with On Your Radar that they wanted to get the fans reaction before they picked the final single from that, but we never even got one. As far as I'm aware, typically they would be releasing a new single every 3 months. We're now nearly 12 weeks after the Disco Love release and we've heard nothing. They have also said they will be announcing tour details and a new single when Frankie is back and they've said nothing. Why she wasn't at the Glasgow gig I don't know. As much as I love The Sats, I am sooooo bored of waiting for things to happen, and I feel at this stage, we are getting our hopes up for nothing. I feel like they probably know about the same as us!
  18. It's up to #35 on iTunes!

They added a 2nd Cardiff date and it went on sale this morning. If you go to GigsandTours.com, it's offering 5th row at the moment.
  20. For me, the only track from the album that would work as a single is 'Not Giving Up'. I can't imagine hearing things like 'Leave A Light On' or 'Anywhere With You' on the radio... not that they get much radio airplay these days. :/

I don't think it's sold quite that much just yet. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!
  22. The digital sales are obviously doing something then. I'm hoping it will continue to rise. I guess the further up the top 100 it gets, the more buyers will see it and be encouraged to buy it - especially for £4 or whatever it is after you've already bought one of the singles. I'm hoping to get 'Not Giving Up' as the fifth and final single release from this album (fifth if you count '30 Days'). I think it could go top ten with a decent video. Saying this, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get anything more from this album. I'm doubtful the tour they keep promising will even go ahead!

Did anyone notice that they've now moved their Manchester and Nottingham shows into arenas? I don't know why they chose such small venues in the first place! I have tickets for Birmingham opening night, Newcastle and Sheffield. I imagine them putting on a good show!
