You may as well take £14 from someone for a ticket, than leave it empty because someone doesn't want to pay full price. I'm completely obsessed by the Groupon page. I've been checking it all day watching the sales numbers increase and seeing where people are buying tickets for.

^ I don't think they were ever promoted as 2 for 1, but I remember competitions. Plus, apparently Capital FM were given over a thousand tickets for their staff members and to give away to listeners.

I think it's a great offer. Love the fact you can see via Groupon how many have sold as well. Although it is completely obvious they are desperate to sell the tickets, it should help the venues to fill up a bit more. I really don't want to walk into 2.5k capacity theatres and see whole levels of seats empty. I find it crazy that you can buy 5th and 6th row tickets for Cardiff and Birmingham via the AEG sale!

You're right actually, it does seem much better. I'd imagine they'll sell what's left. I've checked TM and there's next to nothing, and also AXS and See Tickets but they still seem to have decent seats left. I'd like it to sell out.

Those singles sales are a joke. If that's not a sign that their work ethic and approach towards their releases needs to change, then I don't know what is.

Work was the fifth single off a platinum selling album and still managed to sell over 100k though. It's a real shame that streaming pushed them so far down the chart this week. I agree about the collaboration for the next single. Perhaps it was the Sean Paul feature that helped What About Us sell so well, his singles usually go into the top ten. I'm not really a fan of the whole "rent-a-rapper" thing but if it gets them back on the radio playlists... They haven't done the Children In Need single yet, so that could be an option. In an ideal world, I'd have liked them to continue promoting the Greatest Hits over Christmas to push sales as this seemed to work for Headlines. I remember one week it was outside the top 20 and still managed to top the first week sales when it charted at #3. As much as I like the two new songs on the GH though, I don't think either of them are suitable or strong enough for a single release.

Seeing as tour ticket sales have been pathetic, it seems not as many people purchased it as we'd hoped.

Have a look at Get Me In. Some friends of mine managed to buy 5th row seats for Bournemouth the other day for near face value price. Hope that helps.

Apart from the tickets I have bought directly from venues, I haven't received any yet. They can be sent at any time though, sometimes at the latest, 48 hours before the event I believe.

"Last few tickets" LOL. ^^ Yeah, unlikely you'll get a VIP ticket tbh. I tried to get one on the day and couldn't! For your VIP budget though, you could probably go to 3 dates! Where are you from? There are LOADS of decent seats left for Cardiff (!!), Wembley and Birmingham which are all arenas, plus a lot of the theatres like Sheffield and Nottingham are small anyway so your view will still be decent.

I reckon Chasing Lights is a dead cert and maybe Get Ready Get Set as well.
