  1. From the Nevada biography: ‘The Mack’ is a strong opening statement of things to come for this exciting new artist...' It's just a cover of a 20 year old song..hardly exciting!

Hi Robbie! Yep, fingers crossed. :)

Hope Shaky can hold in the Top 20. Not bad for the biggest UK singles act of the 80's, only beaten by Madonna. :)
  4. Sales of the Top 3 must be really close! :o
  5. Congratulations to Mr. Lynne! :)
  6. Drake was 10 weeks at No.1 in America not 7.
  7. I'm really chuffed for Jeff Lynne if ELO hold on to No.1. It recently peaked at No.3 after Glastonbury. Hard to believe it was released in 2005 and hit 1 million sales just a few weeks ago. It looks like it IS the extra advertisement that's made the difference this week. :)
  8. Ah, that's a shame. Meghan was on 'This Morning' today having a chat about her career and promoting the new album. Don't think she performed though but I didn't see the end. She did say that she's now promoting the second release from the album.

Yep, finger's crossed. It's a shame they hadn't released a couple of weeks ago when the No.1 was only shifting 11k. Hindsight's a wonderful thing! :D
  10. Cheers. A job well done!
  11. I know, it's easily done. My memory ain't what it used to be! :D
  12. 'I'm Too Sexy' was 6 weeks at No.2 :)
  13. All 4 One 'I Swear' was 7 weeks at 2 back in 1994. More recently 'Moves Like Jagger' by Maroon 5 was 7 straight weeks at No.2.
  14. Was just thinking if he'd kept to the usual format today we'd only have had 1 Beyonce and 1 Prince track played in full.
  15. It's never too late to appreciate a great song. :)
  16. Nice to see 'Purple Rain' get a new peak position. Pity '1999' and 'Little Red Corvette' slipped out from the mids.
  17. Sure was. We won't see it's second week. Well not on BBC4 anyway!
  18. Yep, that's me! Hi Robbie. :)
  19. No, it was skipped. :(
  20. Yep, I'm sure it was 'The Way I Are' that outsold 'Foundations' by just 16 copies. 'Umbrella' was slightly more but not by much.
  21. Never realised her John Legend duet did so badly. I thought it was Top 75! :o
  22. Virgin Media are saying 'Dev sits in for Jameela' :o
  23. Yep, but I think all 7 of Oasis's studio No.1 albums entered at No.1.
  24. It's been fantastic to hear David's tracks re-enter Top 25 and 'Heroes' now has a chart peak. :)
