Hiya, This weeks number 1 sold 55 144 while Elvis only managed 9 462 so Hound Dog's No. 14 was actually quite good! :rolleyes: The problem for Elvis is downloads. Whereas all the other songs in the chart enjoy strong physical and download sales combined to make their chart position, Elvis gets very low downloads so it's mainly his physicals that are getting the chart positions. In 2005, because downloads didn't count towards the chart for anyone, Elvis was on the same terms as everything else in the chart hence the No.1's and all the other 2's 3's 4's and a 5! :unsure: I reckon if he can get Top 15 with all releases it would be a good result. The only snag is that already a trend is beginning as the singles are starting to dip slightly! 11, 13, 14 :(

I hope Kylie walks to No.1, she's been away far too long!! Wishing her a full recovery. :dance:

Hiya Carole, I don't think we'll get any of the re-issues to No1 this time round. The number 1's at the mo are selling over 30 000!! I'd love "If I Can Dream" to get Top 10...Everything crossed!! :rolleyes:

Hi Tilly, I was disappointed that "Blue Suede Shoes" missed the Top 10. It was there all week but missed out on Saturday sales. :( I managed to get the last copy of "My Baby Left Me" in my local HMV. They jacked the price up to £2.99!! Did you hear the chart on Sunday? When they came to play "My Baby Left Me" at No. 19 they played "Heartbreak Hotel" (..'Since My Baby Left Me'...I despair!!) :wacko: I think we're gonna struggle to get any of the re-issues Top 10 this time round. My copy of "Blue Suede Shoes was numbered 1021!! :naughty: Catcha later. Ian. :D
