The Final Buzzjack Sunday Chart Show Thread- 5th July 2015
That was fantastic. :) I remember when the likes of 'Turtle Power' (1990) and 'Axel F' by bloody Crazy Frog (2005)' were doing chart injustice! Don't even mention Robson and Jerome!! :o

The Final Buzzjack Sunday Chart Show Thread- 5th July 2015
Yep after spending the last 4 weeks of 1988 at No.2 behind Cliff it didn't really look like it would make the top. Made No.1 for the first 3 weeks of '89. :)

The Final Buzzjack Sunday Chart Show Thread- 5th July 2015
It certainly is the end of an era today. I've been listening to the Radio 1 Sunday Top 40 since December 1980 when I was 11 years old and Tony Blackburn was the presenter. I've lived through so many changes in music over the years good and bad! Fave chart battles were Blur/Oasis and the Christmas chart when Rage Against The Machine kept Joe off the top that week! That was awesome! Not forgetting when Kate Nash's 'Foundations' spent 5 non-consecutive weeks at No.2. I think on one occasion she missed No.1 by just 16 copies behind Timbaland's 'The Way I Are' and she also missed out to Rihanna's 'Umbrella by something like 32 copies. She was really unlucky! Just to say a big thanks to the mods and all the posters on here. I don't post regularly but I come on here most weeks. You guys and girls are fantastic, your posts are always entertaining and informative at the same time. Some of you are hilarious and it always adds to the enjoyment of the chart. I got us a shoutout on Clara's second week (I think). Tried with Jameela but she wasn't having any of it!! :jameela: Maybe catch some of you on Friday's occassionally. :)
