Nice little snippets, thanks for posting. I don't actually know what a wind turbine is. Are they those windmill things that are usually in the countryside. I've never seen one on anyone's roof before. As for Will saying something in his interview on Radio 1, I truly hope so. He seems to be very quiet right now. I think he must be hidden away writing for the album.

I do watch the old stuff sometimes but I'm with those who say it doesn't seem like Will anymore, not that he's changed all that much, it just doesn't feel the same. I just like the here and now best I suppose. Going off a bit on a tangeant but now realising who you are Dot on Devoted, I loved your story of your meeting with Will at the Vortex. It's the one I think of. You were so lucky. It came into my mind because I had a nice dream about meeting him last night but would love one day to be able to have a proper relaxed conversation with him, even if it was very short. Rather funny to see comments that you have to be black in relation to this song as it's a Dusty Springfield song! I think Joss has a great soul voice and is definitely a natural singer. I just popped into this forum and this thread caught my interest as I like Dusty Springfield's music. I don't think anyone can do this song like Dusty, Joss missed the point a bit I think. I think it was better sung in an innocent, cheeky way whereas Joss's version was a bit full on. But it was nice to see Dusty on the screen behind, I know Joss is a big fan. :D

I have a feeling it will be the end of this year. Will that be in time for the Brits? If he doesn't get a nomination because he's not around, I don't think that will be a bad thing as long as he does when he is!

Hmmm, well I'm not sure it was a good idea to start it, I hope you don't mind me saying that Dot, but I do get a feeling that attempts to get to the bottom of reasons for bad feeling get squashed and buried so that they remain under the surface ready to bubble up again at a later date, which I feel is a shame when there is a glimmer of hope we might be getting somewhere by discussing it. Personally I have to say that I haven't agreed totally with all the points made on here, though some of them I have agreed with wholeheartedly, and I do understand why some comments might have been upsetting to some, but the tone of the reaction scares me to be honest, totally expected but it still scares me! :blink: :( So though I wouldn't want to be involved, just needed to mention that I'm not enjoying seeing Buzzjack members being put through it, for no more than venting their very real frustrations in a place which I think is the most level headed and chilled out Will forum there is. I know the short haircut makes him look older as it emphasises his receding hairline, but his face looks older too and I do wonder whether photos where he looked older were deliberately chosen for the Keep On promotion in an effort to move away from his puppydog image. I wonder if different looks can be created with different lighting. The photo in the green fleece is how he really looks, well at the moment anyway! :D Thanks for posting the photos. :D

Hello folks, lovely thread. I gave him a CD once, nearly three years ago, and he wrote me a little note to thank me! That was such a lovely thing to do, I could hardly believe it! It wasn't even a new CD because my order didn't come in time and I had to give him my own one! I think it is definitely the thought that counts. The fans that see him wearing their presents are so lucky. :D I think fans have often been inspired with their choices and I definitely find it difficult now to think of what to give him and feel worried that my choice would be inadequate. I would love to think of something special to give him and if I see something I will get it, but I haven't really, so I haven't given him anything.
