I have heard her demo, and although I think it's great and better, it probably wouldn't have been as big as Rihanna. Leona didn't turn down WFL either, it was more because of some big egos in the industry. For Glassheart, most of the big songs she recorded (Blank Page, Burn, WFL, Perfectly You, ..) were all originated in the US while Syco mainly wanted UK producers, hence lots got scrapped.

I always forget about that song since it's on the deluxe, I don't even have it on my phone but it's an amazing song. I remember when the song title was floating around when she recorded it

In all fairness Leona did have some good promo slots, as well as in other countries. We cannot forget there's a budget Nicola and the team are restricted to. Glassheart had lots of money thrown at and as they didn't see it taking off, they cut off budget. Compared to Spirit and Echo era it wasn't as big of course, but I think it was decent. (XF, Alan Carr, Radio 1 gig, ...) I do blame her for the ugly styling though :teresa: Although I doubt that was Nicola's decision, Leona's style before that was insane, and since she's back it has improved again

She's not back with Syco but she did work on something with Simon. If that will ever be released, I have no idea.

I think it takes alot more to get it off ACR. I have read some notes from Syco and the Sony sales team has been really pushing OMS this year. I'm sure they could get it off ACR if they could but I think it's difficult.. The acoustic version last year has helped out too, 33% of the streaming comes from Amazon

Santa Baby doesn't really have that, but she does have head voice note and a small growl near the end :)

It's a duet with Courtney, from what I have seen it's more of a comedy performance.

Their version is the same as original, just a little bit different in production. Leona's vocals are the same except for some new adlibs here and there.

It's a ballad, has the most beautiful ending ever with beautiful notes.. It's basically about "i dont need a star on the tree, you don't have to make it pretty, just you.. decorate my heart"

Y'all need to be banned for disliking Oh Holy Night.. Although I remember being disappointed with the album version as it's the same as her live performances.. If she'd do the David Phelps version, then that would be a vocal BEAST of a song I have heard couple of songs that didn't make CWL and one of them is an original, which should have been on the album imo.. Other songs she covered for the album are Angels (Sarah McLachlan) and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Hellberg said his label is committed to this song (when someone asked to put it on big Spotify playlists) so hopefully that means they get it right. Regarding promo, Leona has already done some promo way back so that will probably be released in release week. She won't do any performances so far. Unless it really takes off
