Not only are you clueless about depression you clearly don't know how to read. Leona said she felt depressed but not as deep like people are. You know the "levels of depression" I talked about in my previous post? I don't want her to be depressed, another disturbing thought of you, but if she said she was then she was and your lack of knowledge won't deny that as you don't know her in person. The rest of my post has nothing to do with sales but you go girl, it's simply another way to avoid my points. I appreciate you think Leona is still that big diva that will sell millions with her album, but there is no way she can after 3 years of absence (exluded CWL), and especially in the US where she hasn't released in 5 years. There's no way she'll chart high, it will take long way to get her back out there and they're doing a good.

Well damn, that is taking ignorance to a higher level. Never have I ever seen someone saying someone can't be depressed because she has friends, family and money. There are so many levels in being depressed, one can so depressed that suicide is their only way out or one can be depressed in life when they for example see no light at the end of the tunnel and don't know what to do. You have absolutely no idea what Leona has been through and it's so disrepectful and disgusting to even read that. Just because you don't see it or read about it in the papers doesn't mean she's been having it difficult behind the scenes. Not everone shows their emotions, you know? It actually affected her vocals and her body. In the other post you're saying you miss her love songs.. Well who made Leona the relation therapist? What does she know about love or heartbreak when she's happy with her boyfriend for the past 5 years? How should people connect with someone who is singing about bad relationships when she's actually in a healthy realtionship? Why does the empowerment not connect with the public? Do you think everyone knows her story? The fact you actually think people listen to Leona to connect with her story. No they try to connect with personal stories in their life. There have been so many songs about empowerment and I couldn't give a shit about the artist, if the songs makes me feel happy and strong, then mission accomplished. Just because you haven't been through enough in your life to connect with empowerment doesn't mean others can't connect with empowerment songs. Really shaking my head to this nonsense.

Why are you always speaking in name of the general public? YOU want a ballad, YOU don't think she's not feeling herself. It's more than obvious people are here for an uptempo Leona, see Another Love Song and I Got You, than a ballad. Why should she lie about her relation with Simon? She does get along, even Simon said it. Why should she bash him and spread rumours? Leona made it clear she didn't like how she was pushed aside waiting for something to happen and eventually record an album full of covers. And that's not all, there's lots going on behind the scenes. The music industry is far from the good life, lots of "do this otherwise that". Why do you think she's still looking for herself? She didn't have the chance to develop her as an artist. She comes off the XF as the next Whitney and Mariah so she'll record an album that shows her as the next big diva. I Am will be the first album that shows what Leona is about. If she had no label, this is what she'd release independently because basically she did this on her own with no label involved. She doesn't look terrified at all, no idea where you're getting that from smh

It's more about the message Leona wants to bring before releasing the album. The three singles all explain what she has been through and the reason why she recorded the album in first place. I'm pretty sure they'll release the other songs after this. Probably YKMW in Winter as a big ballad and then ALS or IGY in January

I'm not gonna start this here too (you can read the whole discussion on DS if you'd like) but ALS was originally planned as 2nd single. Anyway, this doesn't mean Leona won't be releasing it as a single later. You never know :)

Imo I think I Am will be her best ever. Echo is my favourite but I really think I Am will be better. I prefer everything over GH atm (not all the songs, but most) but that's probably because I don't like the GH sound for Leona. I like the sound she's going for now

What do you mean 'already' ? She's still on radio tour and has only done one tv performance. Why is it that everyone expect Leona to chart top20 immediately with no promo? It's the US, not the UK. It's been 6 years since she released a single (OMS excluded), DefJam has to rebuild what has been destroyed. She has to start all over again. Bleeding Love didn't go #1 straight away either.

Don't worry about promo. Really. She's has an insane promo schedule during album release week. She'll be going to New York and London in that week to promote. Defjam is only just beginning in the US. The president of Defjam is a huge fan of Leona and is supporting her. They're going to make sure she breaks out. It's important to have radio on your side so this four week radio tour she's doing is all in her favor. Things don't kick of in 3 seconds in the US. She'll be appearing on Jimmy Fallon soon too.

Agreed with this! I also think it's Leona's voice that just makes me like it no matter what lol. And I like that kind of sound in general so it's really a treat for me :)

Just because everyone thinks it's made up doesn't mean it was made up. The email came from someone very close to Leona so obviously there was alot of praise. The email was LONG af so I only took bits here and there. I don't have the time to make something up like that, I wouldn't even dare lol. And tbh I don't even know what "to fit in with a dog eat dog" means in that email........ Anyway, y'all can believe what you want. It was my task to spread it and so I did.
