  1. Here's the video for 'Apologise', the song that was co-written by her and was given to Ben's Brother:
  2. Love this song, love the album but i really don't like this video :/
  3. So she will be performing at the Rock Oz'Arenes Festival, in Switzerland, on August 15th. On August 22nd she will be at the V Festival! :)
  4. Apologise will NOT be on Come To Life. It's Ben's Brother new single: With ear-friendly musical arrangements reminiscent of The Feeling and Take That, Ben's Brother are a five-piece band from London currently building up to the release of their second album Battling Giants on May 11. The band's fourth single Apologise is an upbeat and colourful number that looks destined for the charts. Co-written by Aussie superstar Natalie Imbruglia, Apologise could well be the song to take Ben's Brother to the forefront of the mainstream. Acting as a teaser for the new album ‘Battling Giants’ (out on May 11th), the first single to be released will be ‘Apologise’. The track was co-written by Aussie superstar Natalie Imbruglia. Hartman says of the collaboration: “Natalie's really sweet – but when she arrived she was in a bit of a fluster – I forget why. When I played her an idea I had for a song and sang the melody we decided on the word “Apologise” for the title because it was resonating with whatever was going on in her world at the time. We had the whole thing finished and done very quickly. It was obvious to me that my take on the lyric was about an entirely different thing – the relationship I was in – but it didn’t matter – the thought was the same. Just say you’re sorry for once so that I can forgive you.” Jamie's version: http://www.bensbrother.com/media/

  6. Natalie Imbruglia's fresh new sound Natalie Imbruglia is really proud of her "fresh" new album and can't stop working on it. The 34-year-old Aussie star was due to release her fourth record this month, but postponed it until May as she wanted to add some new music. Natalie revealed: "I'm really, really excited. I've been back in the studio. It was almost ready to be finished and then I had a last minute inspiration so I've been having a creative spurt. But it's still due to come out in May and I can't wait for everyone to hear it." She added: "I pushed the boat out a little bit more and it's a little bit more fresh sounding and I can't wait for people to hear it." But the singer and actress said while the new album is different, she doesn't think her old fans will be disappointed. She said: "I think my musical style has changed. I think it's been gradual and slow for me but because it's been a long time since people have heard new material from me it will be more of a shock to the audience than to me because it's happened gradually over time. I've been working on this record for quite a few years, so yeah. "There's more electronic stuff, there's some dance beats on there, but ultimately it's a pop record and it still sounds like me I think. "I don't think it's a complete reinvention or a complete redirection, there's some fresh stuff on there." http://www.metro.co.uk/fame/article.html?N...mp;in_a_source=
  7. Imbruglia employs ex-husband on album Aussie songstress Natalie Imbruglia has enlisted some of the biggest names in music, including her ex-husband Daniel Johns and Coldplay's Chris Martin, for her new album. Imbruglia is set to release her fourth studio album, Come To Life, later this year featuring a diverse collection of pop, electro and dance influenced songs. Ben Hillier, who has worked with Blur, Doves and Depeche Mode, has produced the album, with Johns and Martin among the songwriting credits. "I've got some Chris Martin songs that have come in at the last minute (which are) really cool," Imbruglia says. "So that's been really exciting. I'm a very lucky girl." Imbruglia says her ex-husband has had a lot of creative input on the record. "He did some beautiful work on there actually. "In fact one of the parts he wrote in one of the songs is my favourite two notes on the whole album. "It sounds really weird but they run through the whole song, and it makes the whole song for me. (He's a) very clever boy." While she's happy to talk about their professional collaboration, Imbruglia refuses to comment on their relationship or rumours she's dating Prince Harry. "I'm not going to talk - it's kind of off-limits," she says. Imbruglia has also scotched reports she was planning to hold a bushfire benefit concert with Kylie and Dannii Minogue, saying she's been misquoted. Come To Life is due out in May in the UK, with an Australian release date yet to be announced. http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id...865&rss=yes
  8. Chris Martin confirmed: link: http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,2...71-2902,00.html Imbruglia has been working with the band in London and has been recently seen out and about at shows with Martin. “Our best ever song and we just gave to her,” Martin said. “We obviously can’t release anything for a while because people are a bit sick of us so we asked her if she wanted to do it.”

  11. From Digital Spy: Imbruglia hails bands ahead of Brits Natalie Imbruglia has complimented a number of acts that are pencilled in to appear at today's Brit Awards ceremony. The singer has confirmed that she will be attending the event and told Metro that she will be there "with bells on". She said: "I think The Killers are going to be there. I think they're pretty amazing and I love the Kings Of Leon. "Adele - I love her voice. Duffy is fantastic, she is really really nice as well - I met her and she's very, very sweet. And she's got an extraordinary voice as well. So yeah - go the girls!" She revealed that she will be releasing her new album in May following a "creative spurt", adding that she cannot wait for everyone to hear her music. Imbruglia recently suggested a fundraising concert to help those affected by the bushfires in Australia.

  16. From Digital Spy: Imbruglia plans 2009 comeback Saturday, December 27 2008, 18:32 GMT By Nick Levine, Music Editor Natalie Imbruglia has revealed that she is aiming to release her new album in March. The Australian singer has been absent from the charts since releasing 'Best Of' compilation Glorious in October 2007. Having parted ways with record company Sony BMG, she is planning to release her new album on her own label. "I am really excited to tell you that my new album is in the final stages of mixing and we are hoping to release it in the UK by March 2009," Imbruglia wrote on her official website. "It has taken longer than I would have hoped to get to this point - I will spare you the gory details - but it feels very good to be in a position of control and being able to decide how this record will be delivered to the world." Imbruglia also revealed that the first single from the album will premiere in February "if all goes according to plan".
